 + -1 moreI tried calling and left a message to schedule an appointment and no response. I reached out to them though Angie's List, no response. I was initially referred to them though Sarah at Kitchen Solvers. She had to text them three separate times before they finally called to quote my project, which they did. Too bad, I thought their quote was fair.
Description of Work: I needed three fixtures and two switches replaced. Two outlets converted to GFCI.

 + -1 moreLoren Travis Electric was hired by the general contractor that was doing my bathroom remodel. I never met them during their first visit to rough in the electrical. I had them come back to do the finish work once I was finally at that stage and was very happy with their work. I had lost power to two of the bedrooms during the remodel and they worked on the issue until they found the problem and were able to fix it. After doing this remodel and dealing with other so called professionals, it is good to know that there are still some people that take pride in their business/job. I would definitely hire and/or recommend Loren Travis Electric in the future.

Description of Work: At our initial meeting, Loren explained what needed to be done with old knob and spool wiring that needed to be replaced and suggested other work that it would be convenient to do at the same time; some items I chose to do and some I did not. He arrived when he said he would to do the work. He was efficient. He did the work in less time and for less cost than what he said it might take. I have never been more pleased to work with a contractor.

 + -1 moreWe chose Loren Travis Electric because their estimate was less than half of another local electrician and they had great reviews on Angies List. The team of 3 arrived on time at 10am. They reviewed what fans we were putting in each room and went right to work. They worked right through lunch and completed installation of 5 fans (including wiring and new fan boxes for 4 of the fans). They also put an outlet under the sink for a future garbage disposal and did work in the garage. They did a fantastic job, were very neat and did a beautiful job cutting into the drywall. No patching or repairs needed. They finished their work by 3:30pm. The guys also made sure that we knew our insulation in the attice was not adequate (which we knew from a recent inspection). It was nice that they made sure we were aware of the condition of the attic. We were sent the invoice for the work the next day and it was $300 less than the estimate. So, that means that Loren Travis Electric was 1/3 the price given by the other local electrician. We will definitely use them again if we have an electrical need!
Description of Work: We requested that 5 ceiling fans (purchased by us) be installed which included rewiring the current switches and for 4 of the fans, putting fans where lights did not exist before. In addition to this work, they put an electrical outlet under our sink for a future garbage disposal. They also installed another light in the garage and added a GFI outlet.

 + -1 moreTook a long time to schedule and reschedule but it was worth the wait. In the end, they did a top notch job, they were clean and neat and it was very affordable! I highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: Although it took a couple rescheduling attempts, I am VERY pleased with their work. For a very reasonable cost I had an two outlets installed - one inside and one outside , an antique phone hooked up and several outlets that were only half working repaired. Everything works great now! And I love having outlets where I had none before (old house). These guys are hard to get because they are very busy, but it's worth the wait.

Description of Work: Loren and his son's do great quality eletric work at a fair price. They are professional and know their work. If your looking for some electrical work around the house or else where, I'd suggest giving Loren a call for a estimate.
