Amazingly fast service. Brandon showed up within 15 minutes of my call. We had water backed up into our basement and he had the problem fixed within an hour. I couldn't be more pleased with the service today. Thank you very much!

To make a long story short the previous owner of my home had kids who put large toys and things down open drain pipes in the basement. Complicating matters the drain had become completely clogged by germinating grain seeds from my wife's basement gardening project backing up against these plastic toys (and a croquet mallet head) . I had already tried snaking the drain myself with limited success (i got the croquet mallet head to float back up the open pipe and a ping pong ball, but there was more in there and i couldn't get it). I spoke with Dan over the phone about the cost and labor associated with his services, specifically using a camera to see what was down there and getting it out. Due to the high price of these sewer cameras the minimum charge for service is high, furthermore he suggested i use a shop vac if i had one to attempt extraction first as that was what he would do first if he had to come. So i set up my shop vac for wet use and proceeded to twist and push the hose as far down as i could... after taking the hard plastic end off. Each time coming back with another plastic item, batteries, bottle caps, then finally a giant log of seeds that had sprouted and blocked the pipe. So anyway... Dan advised persistence and the shop vac which i didn't even think to try.... and i'm thankful i did because this definitely would have taken him a few hours and at least a few hundred dollars of my money. I really appreciate when someone tells me honestly to try it myself and if i can't get it then call him back.

Came the day we called and cleared the drain. They were efficient and effective.

This was the second company I called. The first one couldn't complete the job. In an extremely busy time, with frozen pipes all over the city because of months of below zero weather, Dan from Eau Claire Roto Rooter made time for my house in the middle of his other jobs, handled the problem in less than an hour, and was helpful and answered all of my questions about how to prevent the problem from happening again. I've used several companies over the years to clean out tree roots from this pipe - which is needed about every 6 mo - but I'm done calling around. I'm just calling this company from now on!
