Chippewa Sewing Machine Co

I needed my Oreck vacuum cleaner repaired and according to the Oreck website, Chippewa Sewing Machine was an authorized Oreck repair center. I pull up in front of their store and knew I had the right place as there were Oreck signs clearly posted in the front of the store. Imagine my surprise when the repairman that waited on me refused to fix my vacuum! I asked if this was an Oreck repair facility and he said yes. I then asked why he would not fix my vacuum and he explained that he had never worked on my model and didn't know anything about it! I was like what????? Why are you an AUTHORIZED Oreck repair facility if you do not know how to fix your own product! He told me to take it to Ziggy's Vacuum Repair! I then called Oreck corporate and complained. Took it to Ziggy's after all and he fixed it without problem.
