+ -1 moreI have lived in the house for 2+ years and the A/C unit would never run when I tried turning it on. I had gotten previous quotes and was told that the unit leaked, did not have Freon, and needed to be replaced. I contacted Jeff with CCS and he informed me that the unit was full of Freon and worked well. All the work that he performed was to improve the functionality of the unit as well as clean up the wires outside. I was very grateful as I was expecting to pay $5,000+ for a new system. Most people see an old unit and immediately want to replace it or want to take advantage of me being a woman and not knowing much about HVAC, but Jeff was very honest and took his job seriously. I was also very impressed with his willingness to come look at the unit with such short notice. I called early Monday morning and he made it out there Monday evening to take a look. I'd recommend his service to anyone needing help with their HVAC system.
Description of Work: Inspected A/C unit, cleaned furnace blower, replaced furnace filter, insulated suction line at the outdoor condensing unit.

+ -1 moreQuick, friendly, professional service. Looked over air conditioner and furnace, answered questions as we recently purchased our home. I would highly recommend Jeff and will certainly call again if needed.
Description of Work: Jeff came to check on our air conditioning unit that was not running. We had been told by another company that our air conditioning unit was dry, had lost all the freon and that a leak could be very expensive to find and probably wasn't worth it. We decided to get a second opinion and Jeff came out, found the leak, recharged our unit and it now works perfectly. Great service!

Description of Work: Most recent was a pre-winter tune-up of furnace. C&S installed our new furnace and has maintained it and our A/C for serveral years. Before he switched to H and A/C he was a remodeler. He supervised a $60,000.00 remodel of our home. He lent me tools, no charge; taught us how to do some of the work my wife and I wanted to do ourselves, no charge, did the difficult parts of those jobs himself, did wonderful carpentry and finish work, and even carried a stop watch which he stopped whenever he and and I, or anyone else visited with him so he only charged us for the time he spent working. He also provided a very effective dust removal system and was meticulus about keeping his work areas free of dust, dirt, and mess. He and his sons are competent, experienced and professional. His billing is always timely and accurate. We have done remodeling since and I'm always disappointed that he is no longer available for that but will continue to use him for any H&A/C needs.
