They do mostly windows and provide high quality work. They were prompt, efficient and very professional. The only issue was they accidentally slightly damaged a piece of furniture, but it was not their fault. They had told us to move stuff out of the way and we had failed to move that piece of furniture. They insisted on paying for the repair as well. It was very nice of them because they did not have to do that. I am hoping they can repair some of our upstairs windows next year.

We are very careful consumers and for about two years my wife and I researched residential metal roof products and visited over 30 different residential metal roof installations. We finally decided on the Gerard stone coated product and began researching contractors. We were looking for a company with extensive experience and know-how with this type of metal roof along and with solid roofing references on exactly the product we wanted to install. We also looked for a company that had performed larger, more complex roofing jobs successfully, and had been in business more than 10 years. Asher met all the criteria. We then talked with builders, the roof manufacturer, performed a thorough company background check, and checked references. We went so far as to also talk with Asher's banker and legal counsel. With met with Chad Asher several times and decided to move forward in late spring 2014. The job was scheduled to start in June or July as weather permitted, we were flexible on the start date as long as the work was completed during the summer. Work began 7am July 14 and concluded 5pm July 24. The result met all of our expectations and more. The crew was polite, worked long days, kept us informed daily, respected our property inside and out (including the one bathroom I allowed them to use), secured our home and their materials when we were away, and involved me immediately when issues arose. They did exactly the work they promised and the result was a quality installation that looks great. We had an outstanding experience with Asher.

Arrived on time and completed the job satisfactorily. All ratings are very satisfactory.

It went very well. They did a very professional job the 2 worked that installed. Steve Wojcik the consultant was so nice to work with, we could not be happier with the results.. We live on the golf course and the afternoon and evening sun was very hard to enjoy sitting outside.

Trade show, start date set, weather delays, day set, three hours done.

Kevin came out and was very pleasant and finished the installation in 2 hours. We had a torrential rain storm, and the water was gushing off of my roof. Kevin came back out and drilled some holes into the helmet. It has not rained since then, but the sales rep assures me they will be here if there is another problem.

Adam the installer was at our home on time did a great job, install wont flawless great job.

I came home to find that the ice had brought down an upper gutter and soffit facing onto a lower gutter. All of that was hanging off of the house. Adam, from Asher, came as soon as possible on the next workday and took down the materials so that no more damage would occur. He was able to salvage a lot of the facing so that the repair expense could be less than a total replacement would cost. He was friendly, courteous, diligent, and very neat. Once the insurance company had come to assess the damage, I was able to schedule the work with Asher and was given a timeline for the repair. In fact, I was able to move up on their schedule and the work was done sooner than I had expected. One challenge with the job was to find replacement facing for some that had been damaged. The color is unusual and they were determined to match it. After some diligent research on their part, they were able to find the right material and complete the job. I really appreciate their commitment to doing the job "right." Everyone I dealt with at Asher, either on the phone or in person, was courteous, efficient, and professional. I would definitely do business with this company again.

The roofers very nice. Worked fast and neat and cleaned up. Wonderful. Extra pleased with them. Worked in all kinds of weather. Explained they were doing. They recycled the materials so didn't go into landfill and they have a lifetime guarantee on the roof when it was all done. Excellent. Lighted high priced, but excellent work and good for your money you're spending.

Chad Asher provided estimate on a date and time that was convenient. We were given notice when they would start. All members of crews were family, polite and obviously take pride in their work. The end product was beautiful.

The sales consultant was too pushy when trying to sell us on the product, the installation was wonderful, on time and budget. The sales consultant didn't respond to emails in a timely manner once the contract was signed.

It was kind of an innovative new way of doing it. We tried some other things which didn't work but this worked real well. I was very pleased with them. They were very professional. They came out and explained everything at that time. I knew what my cost was going to be. They created appropriate expectation. They knew what we expected or quite detailed in what they were going to do and they got it done. It works, which I like the best. Their price was fair.

My husband called twice a couple of weeks ago and left a voice message stating that we wanted to get a quote for finishing our basement and adding a walk out from the basement to the back yard. He left both his cell number and our house number and no one has called us back. Needless to say we will not be useing Asher for our project.

I've used Asher for a couple other jobs and they are terrific! You can expect excellent service from the estimate through to completion of the project. This is a family-owned operation but functions like a well-oiled machine; they send skilled crews and keep you informed all along the way. For my particular project I had wind and hail damage on roof and siding. Since I wanted to spruce up the place I also requested an upgrade to the siding. Asher came with ideas for the new design and suggested ways to re-use existing siding to replace the damaged pieces. The new design incorporated a stacked stone look and used metal roofing to accent the top/peak area on the house and garage. The creative design tied everything together even though I had a limited budget. The end products for the repairs and the new design are outstanding. I've received several compliments from neighbors, delivery people, and visitors. Not only is the work of the highest quality, Asher handled the scheduling, ordering, permits, etc. No surprises. They are a bit more expensive than other bids I got but because I can count on the work being done well the first time the higher pricetag is worth it to me.

The windows are very nice and I'm quite happy that we decided to spend the extra money on better quality windows. The installation was done well by skilled craftsmen. The customer service was horrible, and bad enough to deter me from recommending Asher's to my friends. When the salesperson came out and walked through the order with us, we paid half the money down with the rest due upon completion, and we were told the windows would be installed in 5-7 weeks. We signed the contract on April 18. 7 weeks later, I called to find out when we would have installation, and I made 4 calls over a period of a week without anyone getting back to me. Finally a receptionist told me that the person who was supposed to be managing my project was "no longer with the company" and someone else would call me. I called a week later, since I hadn't heard from anyone and found out that the egress window was there, but the smaller hopper windows weren't in yet. So we scheduled a time to install the egress, right after July 4. The installation was not smooth, because the subcontractor who dug the well hit a gas line, and then the person ordering the window well had failed to take into account that fireplaces (which is directly to one side of this window) have hearths that extend well beyond the chimney. So a much smaller window well had to be located and ordered, and meantime I had a big hole in my side yard. Finally the well was installed, and it seemed only a minor bother that the cover to the well doesn't fit the well. There is an 12 inch gap at the top of the well cover where it doesn't cover the window. (I am told that the company will try to locate a replacement cover that fits.) It took another month for the small windows to come in, and meanwhile I was told by my electrician that one of the windows needed to be inoperable in order to install the dryer vent according to code. Asher's told me that the windows couldn't be changed once ordered (I guess that's reasonable, but at this point I wasn't convinced that they really had been ordered.) It all became a moot point when the windows were installed because as it turns out, they had ordered one less window than I had originally asked for. And then even though I had asked them to install glass block in the changed window, the installer left without doing so. By then I just figured it would be easier and cheaper to do it myself. This certainly doesn't rank very high on the remodeling disasters list, and I consider myself lucky that I didn't lose any money on the deal. But I did lose lots of time, and the insulation guys have been waiting for two months, and everything else is backed up behind them. It was frustrating.

Horrible, to top it off, they left a key in my driveway. When I called to ask them where they were located to return the key I was asked "well what do you want me to do about it?"

We were very pleased with the service. They did a good job, and were timely.

Craftsmanship and the actual carpenter that did the work were outstanding. I will never again hire a job that is intermediated/communicated by and through a salesman. The carpenter was great. The salesman put all the problems that arose on me. I did change some design plans during the job because information was not known about some issues involved along the way. The carpenter told me actual facts about the design of the room that made a difference as to the ambient temperature of the room and the actual insulation qualities of the window once installed. The plans drawn up and approved ahead of time included baseboard heating in the room. It was missed by the electricians when the electric was snubbed in. I felt somewhat intimidate when, in the end, I required the heaters to be installed anyway. They were, but there were two less than the plans called for. The room is hard to heat in the dead of winter. The salesman wanted me to settle the contract half way through the job, and then actually write a new contract for the remainder. I refused to exit the contract and he tried to retaliate by withholding rebate information I needed for an energy tax rebate. There is more, but let's leave it at that. Once again: the carpenter, carpentry, craftsmanship and materials were top notch.

It is local and its a very short distance from me. They have been in business a long time. They have a good reputation and I wanted someone right here in the area so if I had any problems that I could go back to. I think they are slightly expensive, but they are well worth the money.

The punctuality and responsiveness was very good. The professionalism was very good. They were expensive.

They are pretty reputable and have been around a long time. They did a great job, they are meticulous, they didn't let anything slide, the supervisor was right there making sure everything was done correctly. If there was a little goof up he said nope do it again. The other workers were fine, once they got going. It took awhile because they were so back up but once they got going they were here everyday and got done in a reasonable amount of time. It looks good, we are real satisfied with it. So far so good.

My husband and I had just recently purchased our first house and it was in desperate need of some windows. We have a large picture window in the living room with 3 panels, 2 of which open. When we brought this home the window was sealed shut and had condensation damage around it. We call numerous places for offers but found Ashers to be as fairly priced as the rest and the quality seemed top notch. The reason we choose them over every place else was the way they treated you as a customer. Some of the places we called for quotes people were really hard to get a hold of, didn't show up or seemed worried about the round window on top of the picture window and the insulation; which makes you wonder how they treat you if you have problems during the warranty period. Dan, our sales person, was very nice and didn't seem like he was all about the sale. He actually steered us away of one project because he didn't believe we needed to do it at that time. Not to mention he was easy to get a hold of. That is one thing I have to say about everyone I have talked to and had over to our house from Ashers, they are really nice and go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied with their service & product. They also came in right on the quote, not a penny more. When our windows were put in, Mic installed them and he was great. We replaced 2 windows that looked like they were newer to the house but were drafty. Whoever installed them, probably previous owner, did not do a very good job and Mic ended up rebuilding a lot of the sill and insluating it properly. He really went out of his way to make sure the job was done right and there wouldn't be any problems, he also was very tidy and cleaned up after himself great. I would definetly go to Asher's for the rest of the windows in our house or for any remodeling project we had.

While Ashers provided this service years ago, there was only one problem with one window. The window in question had metal sahvings inside the window so it looked like dirt. Ashers arrived on time to fix it and completed the work with no hassle. I made a mistake and went with the "low price" guy which is heavily advertised in town here. Asher's work was done correctly. I will call them again!!

It may not have have the lowest cost choice of builders, but we feel so confident that the workmanship of Ashers, along with the quality of the materials used, have given us a lifetime exterior, never to be replacing or maintanence again. If you are considering any home improvements, or building a new home, take a long look at Asher. If we were to consider new construction, we would not hesitate for a minute to contact Asher first.
