It went very well. This job was completed in its entirety by Jim Frisch, Sr. The original bid called for one coat of paint on everything, except for the basement wall that needed a primer coat. Jim could very easily let it go at that; but he soon discovered that the living room and bathroom needed an extra coat of paint and brought these facts to our attention. Before touching a paint brush, he goes to great lengths to protect cabinets, carpets and wood work from accidental drips of paint, etc. The paint goes where we want it ... nowhere else. Most importantly, Jim noticed on one 13 below zero day, that condensation had formed and frozen on the interior of the living room. This freezing damaged the new paint; and Jim promptly notified us about this problem. We immediately cut out the gypsum in those extremely cold spots, upgraded the insulation, and installed new gypsum wallboard. Jim will re-paint the repaired area. The job is complete and we are totally satisfied. He was very accommodating and helpful in many unexpected ways during the entire project. We already hired him to install a tile back-splash in our kitchen. We are very pleased with how the back splash turned out. And then our daughter hired him to do some painting in her home in Waterford. She was very well satisfied. We hired Jim again to freshen the paint in a property in our East Troy property. The East Troy job went very well too. Jim exemplifies the work ethic and professionalism that I so very much admire in people from Wisconsin. Jim Frisch deserves the Angie "Super Service" award.
Description of Work: Prepare and paint 1260 sq ft rancher; plus prepare and paint 600 sq ft finished basement. Ceilings, walls and closets were included. We supplied the paint. We used Behr paint and we are satisfied with Behr. And as it turns out, Jim prefers Behr.
