+ -1 moreTo start, the approximate cost of $50 was because that was our Home Insurance deductible. We recently purchased the house and the plan that came with it covered the issues. Half of the house was without power, including the furnace and refrigerator. When I called in I talked to Mark and explained the problems we were having. He was able to come over to the house within 90 minutes and started troubleshooting. He even showed up exactly when he said he would which was great because we had to go home from work to meet him. It didn't take him long and he narrowed it down to one of the feeds coming into the house, and he initiated contact with WE energies to get the problem resolved. While he was there he was very respectful of the house. Anything that was moved was moved was put back, things were cleaned up and he was very helpful. Overall great service and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
Description of Work: Troubleshoot electrical problem that was causing half of our house to be out of power.

Description of Work: Mike Merz installed two pendant lights and a chandelier. The two pendant lights took some creativity, but Mr. Merz handled it well. He also replaced a heating light/ceiling fan in an upstairs bathroom we were getting remodeled. In addition, he fixed a light in our bedroom that had shorted out, covered an exposed outlet in the garage, and fixed our hopeless outside lamppost. He didn't add any of that work to his bill! That kind of service is extremely rare. I would call Mr. Merz for any future electrical problems. He does excellent work and is a very nice man.
