Miguel was great. We called more than a few landscape pros for estimates for this as it was a big job, quite an expense for us, and a somewhat tricky job in terms of access to the yard for equipment to do this, unique layout, steps, slope of yard, etc. Prices were fairly within 10-12% of one-another, but Miguel was the only one to suggest or call to our attention, a potential issue with the height of a 'step' down from the porch to the new patio given our request. He suggested two different alternate plans, and was the ONLY one of those that came out to measure & estimate to suggest making a small step out of blocks to accommodate the step-down on the new patio. His crew was great, even being able to start on the day we requested. All told, I think it was only 2 or 3 days, they re-seeded the areas of the lawn that got damaged, expectedly, during heavy machinery movement in the area to remove old concrete patio. Seeded and placed straw over dirt areas. Cleaned area well. Only issue seems/may be they did not sweep enough of the "polymeric" top sand over when completed as within a few days there were small gaps btween some brick pavers- but we can buy more of this paver-lock sand material locally at the box stores and refresh that come Spring. Overall, however, it looks beautiful. I watched them do prep work, compacting at times, so hopefully this will be a solid, long-lasting job. That was our goal in chosing this, not go with the cheapest as sometimes you get what you pay for. We did check the level of the finished patio to be sure it sloped away from the house and it indeed does. I'd not hesitate to use M H and Miguel again, and in fact, we're considering doing another paver project in front, maybe next season.
