Doug did an excellent job in checking out my furnace. In all the years I have had inspections, his was the most through. He was very personable, explained what he was doing, and had done checks to ensure the system was operating correctly. The Kettle Moraine staff is simply amazing. The heat at my house went out and Neil, the technician that I spoke to, provided guidance over the phone on what ended up being a very simple fix that could be done in 5 mins. I imagine there are companies out there that take advantage of situations like this however Neil and the Kettle Moraine staff were friendly, professional, knowledgable and gracious with their time and insight. I will definitely reach out to them with all my maintenance needs going forward! Thankful that they took good care of me and my family.

Excellent. Bill determined that the problem was not with the dehumidifier but was in reality, a problem with the outlet it was plugged into. He cleaned out the filter and then called Horizon Electric to schedule a service call with them for the next day. In the meantime, he loaned us one of his extension cords so we could run the dehumidifier until the electrician arrives and installs another outlet.

We recently moved into a new-to-us home and when we started using the air conditioner, it leaked. We called Kettle Moraine Heating and Air and they sent out Neal. He knew what the issue was right away (bugs clogging the system), quickly and neatly took care of that and then showed me a how my system works. He was very professional and thorough (including booties for his shoes and kind tolerance towards my rambunctious puppy). We've had to deal with quite a few contractors over the last six weeks between buying and selling our homes and this has definitely been one of the better experiences. I'd happily recommend them!

Our 45-year-old, 2 stories 2,200 sq. ft. home has been suffering from poor performing air conditioning, especially on the second floor, for about the last five years. We knew it was getting less efficient, by the year, and finally decided it was time to get something done. We started with Angie’s List, and contacted the top 6 companies, based on number of reviews, and overall grades by customers, as listed in our HVAC service area, for bids on replacing our entire system. Jay from Kettle Moraine HVAC was our 3rd person in the house, so we had some knowledge of what to expect by his visit. He spent more time providing information about how the various components work together, the options (Good, Better, Best), and even spent time figuring out the best bang for the buck was considering rebates, and system performance. He also spent time measuring the air flow at each supply register in the house, just to make sure we didn’t have a ducting issue. None of the other company’s estimators came even close to showing Jay’s level of expertise, knowledge, let alone customer orientation. Once we collected all the bids, and equalized them as to equipment, efficiencies, installation, permits, warranties, etc., Kettle Moraine HVAC came out squarely in the middle of the pack, pricing wise. Our decision to go with Kettle Moraine HVC was easy, once we started researching the types of issues people typically experience with new HVAC systems. It was clear that the quality of the installer(s) and the dealer supporting their installation and servicing the warranty should anything arise, was the real key to an efficient system and a happy customer. Installation was scheduled within a week, and went off without a hitch. Craig and Max were right on time, and left our home (the areas they worked in) cleaner than when they arrived. Excellent installation, and excellent demonstration / explanation as to how everything works from the thermostat. We have only had the system for a few days, but the comfort level in the house is significantly better, and I can’t even really tell if it’s on, other than to feel the cool dry air coming from the supplies. Excellent system, and I would suggest that if your in the market for a new furnace, and or air conditioner, you at least put Kettle Moraine HVAC on your list of companies to contact for a bid.

The young man who was sent to service my furnace aggressively pushed for me to buy a new furnace. He made claims such as my furnace is only running at 80% proficiency, my ducts are too big for the house and numerous other comments. He had trouble understanding that I was not interested even though I repeated this a number of times. At no time did he actually tell me the percentage of money I would save per month or how long it would take me to recoop the investment of a new furance. If I want to be in a high pressure situation, I will attend a "free" dinner provided by an agent who is pushing a financial product. (At least I would get a free meal out of it.) He also did not offer me a senior discount and no doubt about it, I look like a senior. He asked me to sign the receipt on the tablet without giving me a detailed bill. When I pointed out that I was overcharged, he was reluctant to correct the error. Apparently he did not possess the technology needed for this action. He finally called the office. I was told I would receive a refund in the mail for the overcharge which did happen. I did contact the company and they did respond to my complaints, but told me the service people are told to recommend new furnaces if they see a need. My furnace is about 12 years old, has been serviced by two other companies prior to this one and never did anyone ever try to pressure me into buying a new furnace. After talking with the company, they recommended that I ask for a different technician the next time and gave me his name. My conclusion was that if they are recommending one technician over another, they must know one or more technicians are not properly trained to do the job, or possess a lack of people/communication skills.

Excellent customer service was provided by both Christy and Danielle of Kettle Moraine Heating & Air Conditioning. I needed a new filter for a furnace that they had installed for me in December 2015. I was unable to find what I needed at Menard's in Pewaukee, so I called KMHC to ask where I might purchase one at another store. Christy was extremely helpful on the phone and after researching a few other Menard's stores on-line (unable to find me one) said I could either come to their store and purchase one (and receive a 10% discount) or she offered me the option of having one delivered to my home if there was a technician in the Waukesha area. Since I was at work and unable to accept delivery of a new filter, when she found out that I worked at a school where her office colleague Danielle went to school. they arranged for Danielle to deliver my new furnace filter to me where I work! They saved me time, money and the hassle of trying to find the correct filter that I needed. Thank you Kettle Moraine Heating & Air Conditioning for hiring and training staff who go the extra mile and provide your customers exceptional customer service. It went very well. The technician called on the way and arrived promptly. The technician was very thorough in checking both pieces of equipment. He even replaced my filter on had on the side of my furnace. And what really amazed me was how how neat and organized he was in completing the service. I have had other companies leave dust debris in their wake.

The tech was professional and on time and fixed the AC, but we were charged $818.73 for the service. Two inexpensive parts (a new contactor and new capacitor) were installed, which would have cost less than $50 online. Despite requesting an itemized invoice from both the service tech and the office, we never received one. We certainly expected to pay for the convenience of not fixing it ourselves, but the amount they charged us was beyond ridiculous.
