Our appointment was set for 2:30. They did not show up until 3:15 and did not even make an effort to let us know they were running late. In this day of cell phones that is unacceptable. Two young men showed up to do the work. When one of the men was taking their vacuum down the stairs he scraped the wall (a finished wall) scratching off the paint and leaving a very noticeable mark. He never said anything to me; I had to point it out to him. When I did he did not even apologize or offer compensation. Since a wood stove is present in our fireplace, they had to remove a baffle or something in order to do the cleaning. Afterwards they were unable to put the stove back together. They tried over and over for at least a half hour. I finally dug through some old files and found the owners manual that I was given when it was installed about 5 years ago. Even with that it took another 15 minutes or so. They told me it was because this part was warped. That could be true; I can't say for sure. I got the impression that these guys were not very competent, at least on our particular job. It may have just been a bad day. The room -- a carpeted, finished room -- was left clean, so that was a plus. Also, the two young men were friendly and polite. Unfortunately, tardiness (with no call), damaging our wall (and not saying anything), and fumbling around for a long time on the wood stove left me very disappointed. They did, of course, still charge me their full cost of $249. Sorry to say It was not worth it.

They were called out for a inspection. They never followed up as stated. I was disappointed that the issues didn't get resolved. I would use them again since they know what issues are going on and what parts are needed to fix the problem.

He found a small issue with the pilot light. I was able to fix on my own.

Jayson and his crew did an excellent job rebuilding the chimney on our 110 year old home. Because we have a tile roof and a steeply sloping yard, building the scaffolding and protecting the roof made the job particularly challenging. They did an excellent job dealing with these challenges and were reliable, careful and completed the work on schedule. They cleaned up after the work was done and made a special effort not to trample my wife's plants. I recommend them.

They have been a really good company. They were prompt and on time. They did a good job. We had a little bit of soot and stuff that we ended having to clean up in the house. It was not much. They did an okay job, but it was just the inconvenience of having to clean up a little soot on the carpet. It was not a great inconvenience. It was just a little bit. I thought the price was an excellent price. The quality of the work was excellent because we did not have any problems or did not have a bunch of sooting afterwards.

it went pretty good. They clean up the fire place. They were very considered bring clean blanket for the work area and take their shoes before entering the house. I will recommend these guys again.

The guys were on time and polite. They cleaned up and rearranged the logs so things are working better. They took time to give me a demo of proper usage/settings. Very helpful.

I was very pleased with the service. Jayson was right on time. The first thing he did was to remove his shoes before entering the house and provided floor covering to lay fireplace parts on and to protect carpet. He was very easy to talk with and answered all of my question. He did not leave before ensuring that the fireplace worked properly. I would not hesitate to use his services again and would recommend him to others.

The tech (it's been a bit, so I'm blanking on the name) showed up right on time, was very courteous, and described what he had done when he was finished. He took care to not leave any kind of mess and left the house in as good a shape as he'd found it. I had a few questions when he'd finished up (i.e. anything look like it'd need service in the future), and he gave what felt like an honest assessment of our fireplace (good now, will likely need some new flashing...i think...in a few years time) and gave me a few things to watch for. All in all, I was very pleased with the service and will use them again.

2 workers arrived slightly early (far better than late!), were very polite, took care to not dirty the house, and gave advice on how to position the fireplace glass- either all open or all closed to avoid hotspots that could potentially shatter the glass. They also reviewed general fireplace best practices- start a fire slowly to heat the chamber, and burn hardwoods, not pine.

Several employees came to inspect and sweep a chimney that had not been used in several decades. They did a very thorough job, were extremely professional and finished quickly. Would definitely work with them again.

This was a $179 big deal purchase. We made an appointment and the work went according to an appointment. They felt that our chimney was not usable, sort of. There just was a question about that. I think they did a good job, okay?

They took out the old gas logs, etc that was 18 yrs old and wouldn't start any more. It started with a wall switch that was really too far away for the signal to get to the fireplace. It also had a pilot light that was really designed for a water heater or furnace that needed a person upstairs and one in the basement to start. They put in a beautiful new gas logs with a remote control start and an easy access pilot light. They also rerouted the gas line in the basement to give us more head room.

They were great. Very punctual, did great job, answered questions about fireplace operation and air flow and gave us a discount as we also had a neighbor get theirs done at the same time. Nice people.

Great. We had to reschedule once, but I was called in time, so no problem. Work was done great, price was exactly what the estimate said.
