Description of Work: Excellent service and attention. I was expecting an expensive chimney repair but the company determined it was only a small problem and explained to me how I could fix it myself with material from Menards. Wow.

Description of Work: Well, first having a difficult time to schedule they canceled. I was abled to reschedule. |Point being, Travis was super nice but all he did was throw some burning embers under the logs. He showed me how to clean the logs with my own Windex. He did talk to me about the pilot light. MG&E told me the same thing!That's it! I paid $99.00 for that? Really, there was no service done.

Description of Work: I purchased a fireplace check and clean for my gas fireplace through Angie's list. They did a great job and very happy with their service. I used Fox Chimney Services for another house - a much larger job and they did excellent work and would hire them again. I highly recommend them!

Description of Work: We don't use our fire place very often, but we try to have it cleaned every couple of years. Fox did a great job; they told us that the chimney wasn't too bad. They patched a crack in the box of our fireplace that we hadn't noticed. I would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Travis arrived on time and went right to work. He was very considerate and careful about not leaving dirt on my floor. I was a bit surprised at what constituted a gas fireplace "tune-up" -- according to his Inspection Report, he cleaned the glass, put down new embers and checked the millivolt output (?)It seemed a little pricey for that and he wasn't here that long. I would possibly use them again for other services, but only if the price was right. As far as the tune-up goes, I can clean my own glass and add new embers and have a friend who can check the millivolts.

Description of Work: Gas log fireplace cleaning. they did not change sand and gravel as advertise("we have run out"). But they are returning to do this. They inspected chimney and recommended expensive work. I appreciated the information, decided to do the less expensive part of the repair. They were nicely responsive to feedback.

Description of Work: They cleaned & serviced are gas log fireplace. They took out all of the logs, checked the pilot light, they cleaned out the entire fireplace, including the glass doors. They laid down a painters tarp to catch anything that fell out of the fireplace, they vacuumed the carpet and the surrounding area to make sure they left no dirt caused from their cleaning. The technician was very professional and did an excellent job in cleaning and checking the performance of our gas log fireplace.

Description of Work: checked fireplace. cleaned soot off logs. reinstalled fiberglass and lava rock granules. removed glass door, cleaned it, reinstalled door. very neat.wore booties so as to not track in dirt from shoes. spread cloth on hearth to collect debris. tested gas jets and lit to nmake sure they worked. very professional and capable and friendly.
