They did a great job!

After doing an initial chimney inspection, prior fire damage was found in the flu. They tore out the old tiles and relined the chimney with a metal liner. It was a very professional crew and I would definitely use them again.

It went very well. I chose an insert based on Jayson's recommendations and set up an appointment for them to come back and install the new fireplace. They ran into some other issues with siding and handled it with care. I have a beautiful new fireplace and I am happy to have worked with Fox.

Did a great job. Showed up on time and completed the work very quickly. Since we were new to the house, even took the time to walk us through how to operate our new fireplace. Would recommend in the future.

The two men arrived on time and got right to work. They were pleasant and worked quickly. It is important to note that we purchased a big deal, so the price was discounted from the $225.00 usual. Also, they were not able to obtain the new handle or the catalyst, so we purchased them at another dealer at additional cost. They accidentally put a very small nick in the finish of the stove. They voluntarily told me about it and took off the charge for installing the handle to cover the cost of purchasing a little jar of touch up paint.

On time. Very efficient. No sign of visit after they left.

They cleaned the chimney without issue and provided some recommendations for improvements. The main item had been pointed out to us previously by other sweeps. These people had a more modest and reasonable plan to fix the issue, and after considering it for a while, we will have the work done this time. The only other item they brought up involved an inexpensive insulation repair that we are also doing. We had received previous proposals for this work at three times the price to do work that was frankly far and above what was actually needed to fix the problem. This time we are doing the work because the proposal makes sense. We are likely to use Fox again.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they worked out fine. They were very smart and gave us some good advice as to how to go forward after the cleaning. They also were courteous so we had no objection. It was a good deal. The people who came out were young and one guy looked a little rough, but he was polite.

Provider was punctual, professional, took time to do a good job and explain details to me. They determined we had had a chimney fire and repairs were needed. Stayed and answered questions from the insurance claims rep. I felt they wanted to help me, not just collect their payment and rush out the door.

Showed up on time and got right to work. Very personable and friendly. Cleaned the chimney and did a video scope and pictures. Shared them all with me and invented me to go on the roof to see what they found. We had a several small chimney fires and presented several options to fix and what we should convey to our insurance company. Contacted our insurance company and they had a few reservations about their reputation but the photos they provided backed them up. All in all a positive experience and we are looking at option for repair.

The providers were excellent after dealing with many other contractors who have been a real let down. They were on time and got right to the job. They adjusted the door on my wood stove to make it more efficient. They were also not intimidated by my metal roof. I have them on my list now for next year. Great job, good additudes!

After inspecting our chimney, the two men from Fox Chimney told us that it did not actually need to be cleaned so they wanted to refund some of our money. I could not have been more impressed with their service and honesty.

Went well. Appeared on time, took care to cover carpet, cleaned when done. Provided written results of inspection. Did not try to sell other services. Very efficient and well mannered.

They inspected it and informed me that the chimneys were very clean, and that they really didn’t need to do anything. They showed it to me on the video camera. They were in and out in a short time, and did a good inspection. I was satisfied with them.

Went well. Showed me how to use the wood burning fireplace as I've never had one before.

The guy came out to give us an estimate, he gave it all verbally and promised to send it via email. He never did.

It went fine. They advised that I use a chimney sweeping log a couple times this winter. This was new advice for me. My former sweep service never mentioned it even tho they noted that the chimney flue was getting a creosote glaze.

Did What needed to be done, gave advice on solving fireplace design flaws.

They informed us that our fireplace has rarely ever been used, and that it was in very good condition. We bought our house 2 years ago and wanted it cleaned so we could have a fire without worrying it was clogged or not vented properly. Mr. Fox assured us everything was good to use, then provided us with how to properly open and close the damper. He seemed a bit shy at first, but we quickly learned that he did indeed know what he was talking about by being very descriptive on how everything works.

Looked at construct, evalutate condition to existing code, and provided a summary of resultes. A visual review with the owner was conducted.

They are very nice to deal with. The pricing is reasonable. When I am on a tight schedule, they are able to accommodate for appointments and arrive on time.

Jayson and his crew had replaced the defective piping in my 3 yr old house in 2010. He came back in 2011 to sweep our chimney and found it to be in excellent condition, as we had expected after he had done such a great job the previous year!
