I wasn't quite sure because that is really something that you can't visibly see because I am not getting up on the roof to look at this stuff so I am really hesitant in picking anybody to do that. I know he probably would have done a good job, but just kind of where I was budget-wise, he was a little over that so I had a family member that did it. They put a flashing on but it is still leaking because it is a fieldstone chimney, and so I think around the stone needs to be retuckpointed. The flashing did not take care of it all. It is still a work in progress.

very easy to work with, we were having an issue with our gas fireplace, They cleaned and checked it over and assured us all was OK. they found out we had the wrong size gas logs in the fireplace and did some searching as to the cost to replace. we have not done that yet. ,

The service went well. The technicians were very nice and friendly.

Fox inspected two of my fireplaces in our home we've owned for a little less than a year. We actually should have had them out before we closed, but lesson learned! He and his assistant used drop clothes from the front door up to both fireplaces. Jason performed a detailed inspection and reviewed his findings with us that included the pictures he took inside both chimneys. He was very thorough in his explanation and recommendations. We plan on using Fox Chimney Service again for the repairs.

It was good. They sent 2 people out to do the job. They got the job done in about 45 minutes. The technicians were very nice and professional.

The service was fine. They had some pluses and minuses. I probably wouldn't recommend them.

They did a very thorough job cleaning the entire fireplace after the sweep. They offered good advice about a cleaning schedule based on my fireplace use.

Two technicians came for the work and they arrived on time. They came and cleaned out both of our gas fireplaces. They did a good job and cleaned up well after the job was complete. This was the first time we have had this type of service and we felt that the price was appropriate. They found on one of our natural gas fireplaces that it was not set up correctly. They adjusted and corrected it. Everything went fine.

Arrived as scheduled, answered questions and were informative, and gave advice.

They were prompt, the work was completed on schedule. They also did a tremendous job with cleanup.

Jayson was prompt, as he had been before, and swift in his servicing our chimney. His explanations and recommendations were clear and we contracted with him to treat the flue for creosote build up. We also asked for an estimate on new, less noisy, chimney top dampers, which we received promptly. We had him back to do the creosote removal and the new dampers. He gave us a very fair price, based on the original damper installation we had done years ago, and even gave us a trade in on the old dampers. We are very pleased thus far and recommend his services for all chimney needs. We will be using his services for annual maintenence.

They even re-sealed the chimney on the roof as it was showing a wear for no extra charge, very nice of them.

My husband was home during the service. He was very impressed with Fox. They explained what they did and didn't do, told him that we would probably need to replace a part in a year or two, and recommended that we contact the manufacturer/authorized service dealer for that, as they would have better availability and price for the part. I very much appreciate the honesty! They were prompt and efficient, as well.

They did a very thorough inspection of the chimney, with camera, but preferred not to clean the chimney until they did repair work on the flue, particularly at the top of the chimney.

They did a very good job however one of the things they were supposed to do and which is in their ad is to "replace any items" - our fireplace needed some additional sort of stringy fireproof material that accents the flames and/or glows. |He said he did not have any with him and said they were on his other truck. So far they have not returned to take care of it.

Once I bought the service it was difficult to get appt scheduled. Did minimum and not what was stated in ad. Had to return a 2nd time because flames were not adjusted properly. At that time, they damaged a part of my insert which needed to be ordered. It's been 3 weeks and I'm still waiting for replacement.

Great. Courteous professional service

Jayson was great. He was running late and so called to let us know. He cleaned and checked our gas fireplace which we could not get going for over a year. He started the pilot and then explained how our installation was strange because it took two people to start the pilot. He also explained how our voltage was dropping over time and sometime in the future it will be too low to start the fire. We are going to save our pennies and will definitely use Jayson and Fox to install a new gas insert.

Did a very thorough job. Took great care to keep soot out of the home.
