Description of Work: Fox performed a chimney inspection and cleaning as part of a pre-paid Angie's List Big Deal for $119. The technician was prompt and very helpful. The extendable camera that was used to inspect the chimney was neat, and I could see exactly the issues the technician was discussing.

Description of Work: They cleaned my gas log fireplace. He spend a good deal of time trying to get my fireplace working in addition to cleaning. Angies list request was for a cleaning. I wish I would have called him to let him know the model of gas log unit I have, which was not working. I was hoping a cleaning would solve it, but it did not and he told me he could order the part needed and repair it or I could order and he showed me how to repair. If you are having a problem with your gas log fireplace and need them to repair as well as clean, then call them with your model of gas log unit and they can be prepared to make the repair as well.

Description of Work: I scheduled 3 dates online plus left my phone #. No rep. showed up and around 10 days later someone from Fox called to apologize. I cancelled the service and asked for a refund.

Hi (member name removed), Yes you are correct. We had a spate of coupons come in from the deal and you had asked for a phone call instead of a response through the angies list system. I set your deal aside and made a note to call you but the paperwork got lost in the shuffle. I did drop the ball on this one and that is why i called to apologize as it was entirely my fault that i did not get back with you in time. Once again my apologies.

Description of Work: Two employees arrived on time to clean two gas fireplaces. Explained what they were doing and why. Worked quickly and efficiently - together on each fireplace. Explained how to access and clean the glass front myself. Answered questions. Left the place immaculate. Would definitely hire for any future repair needs.

Description of Work: The guys did a great job. Kept everything nice and clean. Scraped off the sides of the fireplace. Got rid of the ash. Gave me a good education on fireplace use. Very professional. I will be using them again!
