It was a big project. I helped them with the work. I have a very small attic. Neither of the workers could go up there so I went in the attic all dressed up like as if I was a marshmallow person and helped them to find areas where they could put new wiring down and procure and nip off the old knob and tube. I really enjoyed working with them. We continued from upstairs to the downstairs to see what still worked in the first floor. The guy addressed them to see how he could best fix them. He made great effort to look for spaces in my house that would make it possible. We had to cut out a little bit in my ceiling but that's not hard to fix as it is just drywall. He went all the way down to the basement to help me make sure I was to code near my washing machine, put in new outlets everywhere, and helped me connect an exhaust vent from my kitchen and put in lots of outlets. He made it possible for me to have my TV exactly where I wanted it with an outlet. He made a great effort to figure out where he could and could not get the electric stuff all to code from the basement to the first floor and from upstairs to downstairs. He even put electric outlets in the front and the back on my outside. He put lights up for me and ceiling fans. I had discussed with him that I wanted to help in whatever way possible to help reduce the amount of work he needed to do by doing simple stuff like taking something up or down. That also helped me to keep it within my budget. He broke a lamp by accident. He knew that it was got at a garage sale and wasn't that expensive. Yet he felt bad and took $100.00 off as a credit for having broken my lamp. That was awesome too. I would use him again in the future.
Description of Work: HighLeg Electric did all the electrical work on my second floor. It included putting new outlets in, changing light switches out, and getting everything to code. They also got all the knob and tube disconnected because I have an old house.
