Description of Work: 2 central air units installed in a duplex. High quality units with the best warranty I've found for a better price than the other quotes I received by almost 2 grand. Great work and quality install with no trace left behind except the installed equipment.

+ 0 moreAll in all, it went well. They were not one of our lower quoted prices, but no the highest. Salesman was knowledgeable & definitely tried the "hard sell," but we had that from others that gave us quotes as well. The installers knew their stuff, and even managed to keep the noise manageable as I worked from home in the basement room next to the furnace. We also had no issues getting a free duct cleaning scheduled & taken care of, it was included with the price of the new system.

Description of Work: My home air conditioner died by leaking freon, or whatever gas they used 20 years ago. I called Comfort Control Systems because they had worked on my HVAC system in the past. Long story short, they performed a useless leak-test that cost extra money. | |I needed a new air conditioner, but their quote was for almost twice the cost of the other two estimates I got. Salesman was trying to pressure me into signing the deal without checking other providers... so glad I did. Saved almost two-thousand dollars by just calling around. | |Other than that, they do good work. I can't complain about that.

Description of Work: Replaced furnace and installed new central air. Felt a little pressured into a "top of the line" furnace that we were told would be a huge difference than our old one. When we were not seeing the difference after installation, we were told that it was because of increase in energy prices. While that was partly true, it did not explain it all so when we pushed more, we were told that our old furnace was actually quite efficient so there would not be a noticeable difference. When doing the initial contract, this was not presented accurately at all. We are happy with the furnace itself and the work done, we would of liked to have explored equivalent furnace options had we been told accurate information in the beginning.

+ -1 moreI had such a great experience with this company. I have a unique type of furnace that I need for my home and they were the first ones to make it a no problem ordeal for me. I did not need the central air unit at this time just the furnace replaced. The were very thorough explaining the process and what they recommended and I totally trusted their judgement. I was invited to a picnic lunch that they provided to give us information about the maintenance program they offer and was very pleased to find out that it was inexpensive and I felt it was really affordable. I very much appreciated the time they took with me and made sure the correct unit was installed. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. They were terrific.

+ -1 moreMike came out spent time checking out what we wanted done for duct work. Gave bid on the spot as others did. I had done some research on air units prior so had some knowledge. Price was reasonable. Installing went well. Very good experience with company.
Description of Work: Had Central air installed, Mike came and gave bid. We had gotten three bids from competors, but went them because of company profile. I believe in using local companies hat have been in area for years, this company has employees who have been with them for 10 or more years. When you have a local company who treats their employees with respect to keep them, you know the customer will get the same. And we did , the job took most of the day, had extra duct work done. Time was given to go over all with us.

Description of Work: I used Comfort Control Systems to put in some new furnaces 8 years ago. They were last here to do the annual checkup on the furnace. They checked the carbon monoxide, which I was concerned about. They checked my heat exchanger. They cleaned the oiled the bearings on the fans. They changed the furnace filter and adjusted the igniters. It was the standard service they do.

+ -1 moreI have been using them for the last 20 years. My air conditioner was still under warranty and so it didn’t cost me anything. There is only one service technician that I deal with. His name is Bryan L. He is very thorough and he takes the time to do it right. He answers all my questions and makes suggestions on how different things could work or run. He takes the time to adjust things so that it works efficiently. He asks me if I have any problem with the system. He is the only technician who ever did that and asked me if I had any problems. I told him that I had some problems and he adjusted the equipment appropriately for taking care of concerns. That is why I only ask for him. They are not the cheapest in town. This is our second home that they have done the equipment installing and stuff. I have always been happy with them and that is why I stay with them. I have never had any problems with them. I got them here when I moved in here. I have health issues and I have an African Grey Congo Parrot. He doesn’t like a lot of heat or cold. The air conditioning quit on me. I called them up like around 1 o’clock in the morning and they came over.
Description of Work: Comfort Control Systems people came about two weeks ago to check my furnace and air conditioner. My air conditioner needed some equipment to be replaced and they replaced it.
