Worst customer service I've come across in a while. Spoke with Diane twice and Patrick once. Diane apparently never gave Patrick the message. These two should not be in business together as there does not appear to be any communication between the two of them. Three times I asked for Patrick to come to the property to survey the site. I provided him a plat to review. If he came, I wouldn't know as they never called me back. I would highly recommend avoiding this company. Worst responsiveness and communication ever. Terribly unprofessional.

The revised estimate arrived approximately 5 months after it was promised and completely omitted 2 important parts of the project that had been submitted for this estimate in writing. I can only conclude that the owner doesn't truly want this project but doesn't have the moxie to say so.

The owner examined the property and found grading and drainage issues that the designer (a different company) had not built into the plan. The plan has since been revised (the designer was delighted that I had asked Stone Oak to bid) and hopefully this year (2012) we can go ahead. A new estimate will be needed, based both on the revised design and Stone Oak's research on new drainage products. The owner answers questions willingly, provides up-to-date info on new products - and keeps up on the industry in general. I've seen some of his installations - gorgeous - and they do the job.

I met Patrick from Stone Oak Landscaping at a show at the State Fair grounds in February and soon afterward met with him to look at my landscape plan and prepare an estimate. I told him that I was interested in getting my project started as soon as the season permitted, and since we met him in February, there was plenty of time to get an estimate and a contract signed. I received the estimate about a month after our initial meeting. The cost was a bit high for my budget, so I wanted to remove a couple of trees from the estimate and have those done separately. After waiting for well over a month again, and after repeated calls to him requesting the revised estimate, I received the estimate on May 24 via email. The email stated that he couldn't begin until mid-July, hardly the beginning of the season. Patrick knew that I was looking for an early start, and such a small revision to his original estimate should not have taken as long as he took. Because of his delay, I was shoved to the back of his queue, and that is totally unacceptable. I went with another landscaper and the job completed by the end of June.

They also did landscaping work last year for us. Everything was done on time and they followed up their bid.

Everything was excellent. I liked that in addition to doing the actual work, they sent me plenty of information about how to take care of my new yard and they also checked up on everything frequently. One of the plants had died and this company came right away to fix it.

They started work on the front lawn in November of last year, but because of the weather they had to stop before they completed the whole process. As soon as the new patio is put in at the back that is linked to the overall design contract they are going to proceed to finish the front of our lawn. We have had no objections so far with what has been done and I think it is going correctly. So far we have paid the $2,000 for the work they have done and they are contracting someone to do the patio as well. They are professional and I really think they listen to what we say as far as our need. They have also submitted a number of different ideas which has worked out for us. We have been 3 times to their office and people have come out twice to our place prior to any work being done to work on ideas and come out with a final master design. We are pleased with the process they go through. We are satisfied with the price we agreed on.

Everything looked just lovely. My favorite part of the project was working with the designer. I would work with them again in the future.

THE INSTALLATION NEEDED TO BE COORDINATED WITH OTHER WORK WE WERE DOING AS WELL AS WITH STONE OAK'S SCHEDULE SO IT TOOK A WHILE, BUT ONCE IT WAS UNDER WAY ALL WENT SMOOTHLY. CREW WAS ON TIME, HARDWORKING, POLITE AND DID GREAT WORK, ESPECIALLY ON THE BRICK. A FEW ADJUSTMENTS HAD TO BE MADE THE FOLLOWING YEAR, INCLUDING REPLACING A TREE, AND THESE WERE DONE WILLINGLY BY THE SAME CREW WHO DID THE INITIAL INSTALLATION. PAT CAME OVER TWICE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS AND INSPECT THE PROBLEMS BEFORE THE WORK WAS DONE.
