It didn't go at all.
Description of Work: I e-mailed Darrell as he is impossible to reach by phone on a timely basis. He then called me around mid-April 2009. We arranged to have the windows cleaned on 6/26/09. That's over 2 months notice. I have had him clean my windows in 2007 and 2008 with no problems, so I expected he would show up at 8:30 am on June 26th as he stated. He didn't. I had house guests coming that weekend and was really anxious to get my windows cleaned that Friday. I waited an hour and called him at 9:30am. His message on his phone always says the same thing...leave a message, I am very busy, will get back to you in 1 or 2 days. So you have no recourse but to wait and wait I did. He should check his machine more often in case HE messes up. I called again Friday afternoon but no answer again. On the following Monday at 10:30am I received a call from him. He says I sounded kind of anxious (yeah I was expecting clean windows 3 days ago) and he had "a family emergency". Ah yes the ole family emergency. I ran a business for 35 years. I always returned phone calls the same day and if I had an unexpected emergency I called my customers immediately to make arrangements for them. You can't run a business and not respond to your customers in a timely fashion. And he offered me no recompense.

PLEASANT YOUNG MAN CALLED TO SAY HE WOULD BE A FEW MINUTES LATE. SOME WINDOWS WERE HARD TO OPEN, BUT HE DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. I AM SO VERY PLEASED. MY WINDOWS HAVE NEVER LOOKED THIS GOOD!!!

(APPX. 12 WINDOWS + A LARGE PICTURE WINDOW IN THE LIVING ROOM). DARRELL WAS ON TIME, RETURNED ALL CALLS PROMPTLY, AND EVEN CALLED ME FROM HIS CELL PHONE THE MORNING HE WAS TO DO THE WORK TO LET ME KNOW HE WOULD BE ABOUT 15 MINUTES LATE. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND MY WINDOWS ARE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! DARRELL EVEN MADE SURE ALL MY FURNITURE WAS MOVED BACK TO WHERE IT WAS. HE ALSO POINTED OUT PLACES WHERE I NEEDED TO REPLACE SOME WINDOW BRACKETS AND ADVISED HOW I MIGHT REPAIR THE OUTSIDE STORM ON MY BIG PICTURE WINDOW IN MY LIVING ROOM. I PLAN ON USING BAY VIEW WINDOW CLEANING ONCE A YEAR FROM NOW ON.

DARRELL AND HIS ASSISTANT WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND TRUSTWORTHY. THEY WORKED A SOLID SEVEN HOURS, AND PUT A LOT OF EFFORT INTO THE SKYLIGHTS.

THEY HAVE AN ULTRASONIC BLIND CLEANING SYSTEM IN THEIR SHOP. SAME DAY SERVICE. VERY NEAT.

THEY GAVE ME A QUOTE OVER THE PHONE AFTER I DESCRIBED MY WINDOWS. THE ACTUAL PRICE WAS ABOUT $40 MORE THAN THEY QUOTED. I WAS PLEASED WITH THE WORK BUT I WILL CALL AROUND AND GET OTHER QUOTES BEFORE USING THEM AGAIN.
