Hello! I have been installing and replacing appliances for about 11 yrs now. Everything from your basic kitchen appliances, dishwashers, stoves, microwaves and hoods. Also including high end appliances like Wolf, Subzero, Thermador, Cove, Jenn Air and Dacor to name a few. Also proficient in installing panels for panel ready appliances. Dishwashers from scratch Also modifying cabinets to fit or upgrade wall ovens. Chimney hoods and Island hoods as well! I love doing this type of work! Thank you!

"Jerry came right on time......he quickly diagnosed the problem with the appliance......he had all of the parts needed for the repair.....he explained what he was doing in each step and his customer service was excellent.....he cleaned up the work space when finished.....his charges were very fair. I will keep his business card and call him again for any appliance repairs that I may have and will definitely recommend him to family and friends for repairs."

"Mr. Groth was the first person to respond to my Angi request. Despite the fact that he lives over 45 minutes away from me, he was happy to respond to my job request. He was very personable, and able to make a timely appointment. I will not hesitate to contact him should I have any future appliance repair needs."

Appliances questions, answered by experts

It's advisable to have small appliances professionally serviced annually or biannually, especially for heavily used items, to maintain efficiency and prolong longevity.

Since you’re using high heat when cleaning the oven, it could damage some components that were on the verge of breaking. If this happens, first go to your circuit breaker, turn off the switch to your oven and flip it back on to see if it works. If it doesn’t, it could indicate you have a damaged control board or a tripped thermal fuse.

You’ll need to unhook your old appliance but once you do, you can recycle it, donate it, sell it, reuse it, trade it in, or give it as a gift (provided it still works or is easy to fix). Most of the time when people are switching their appliances it’s either because the old one broke or they are upgrading. If the item is broken, the best option is to recycle it. This may carry a cost based on the appliance or its weight. If the appliance still works, you may choose to sell it or gift it. What you do with your old appliance ultimately comes to whether it’s still functioning.

You can run a small or basic standard-size refrigerator on a 15-amp circuit. But you should plug a modern, standard-size refrigerator into a 20-amp dedicated circuit. The refrigerator needs to be on a dedicated circuit, meaning it is the only appliance and outlet on that circuit breaker. This method prevents tripping the breaker and reduces the chance of an electrical fire

The self-cleaning oven mode turns the heat in your oven up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit to incinerate any stuck-on food or grease. This process can make your home uncomfortably hot for several hours. It can also emit unpleasant smells in the house and release carbon monoxide. It can be irritating to people with respiratory conditions. Never leave the house unattended when using the self-cleaning oven feature.
