+ 2 moreWe had some roof damage after a storm in mid June, losing almost 1/3 of the shingles on one section of our roof, and a few on another section. Our house has a very steep roof - approx 11.5:12 pitch (very old house), so it was not something we wanted to tackle ourselves.After getting several estimates from local contractors, we chose Norm for the job as he was able to get to it the soonest, and had a fair price (there were a couple with lower estimates, but they could not get to us for a couple of weeks or were unreachable when i tried to call back for scheduling). Norm is very personable and easy to work with.Norm and a helper arrived early in the morning and got right to work. They removed the tarp that was coving the worst of the damage, thoroughly checked for and removed all damaged shingles that were still in place, and replaced the missing shingles with an almost exact matching shingle (same manufacturer) which is amazing since the existing roof is nearly 10 years old. The repair is almost unnoticeable - just a tiny bit darker than the surrounding roof, and given a little time, it will be completely unnoticable.The entire job, from arrival to completion, was done in about 3 hours, including cleanup of all the damaged shingles, using roofing tar to stick down any other loose edges they found to prevent future damage (and they did check thoroughly), and filling in screw holes from putting the tarp over the damaged area.Very happy with the job done!
