I contacted Rand T in mid-summer to get their opinion on the best way to address some ice dam issues we have been having at our home over the past few years. They recommended a comprehensive air sealing and insulation package for the attic and examination of a valley-area of our roof. Their bid was right about 8K to perform the work, and we agreed. It took a while to get scheduled since this is their busy season, but we finally got on the books and the work was performed yesterday (10/13/14). The crew arrived and were friendly and professional. They got to work and after about 6 hours the job was complete. They blew in cellulose insulation to an R50 value, air sealed what needed to be sealed, and installed baffles where needed. Our attic space is awkward and I am sure there were some challenges, but they banged it out without problems. Afterward they cleaned up so you never knew they were there. The roof work included ensuring no damage to the underlying roof structure, making some minor changes to the way the gutter intersected with the valley area of our roof line, and replacing a few square feet of shingles. As I watched them, I thought I probably could have done this myself and saved that part of the expense - but live and learn. Overall, I thought they did a great job - of course, we will not know the true effectiveness of the efforts until winter - but we are hopeful this will remedy the situation. Overall, I give Rand T an and quot;Aand quot; for their professionalism, their quality of work, and their customer service. I would recommend them.

They were very professional and quick to react. The whole process took under a week. They cleaned up after themselves. They were knowledgeable in what my old house was in need of to lessen the heat loss. There is more I will need to do in the future and I wouldn't mind going through them again.

They are very professional and detail oriented. They have impeccable customer service. Their quality of work is outstanding. On the roofing side, they handled the Certanteed warranty claim for us, which is not something every roofer does. On the siding, they went way above and beyond making sure every exposed corner on the wide siding was painted or cocked. They came back out in the springtime to make sure the caulking held up with the winter weather. I have had several other siding companies compliment on the quality of the work. Which speaks volumes of the quality of work and their attention to detail.

Went great for a very tough problem, Corrected a situation made worse by Integrity Roofing. Met all the requirements set by Focus on Energy. Don't let the lowest price be the deciding factor when it comes to roofs.

I contacted Focus On Energy in my state and arranged for an Energy Audit. This program in Wisconsin covered a portion of the cost. My home was tested and I was advised to get more insulation, a new water heater, and update my bathroom fan to a more efficient model. Rock and Tait Exteriors performed the insulation work. A crew of three came to my home and the process took a day to complete. The crew was very professional and considerate.

The actual job went flawlessly. Quality excellent, workers professional, rapid completion of the job. The reason they did not get 'A's' is that their bookkeeping staff cannot add and subtract. We took advantage of 12 months free financing, but had numerous problems with Rock and Tait communicating with the bank. It was so bad, that we actually paid it off early to put an end to the headache. Great roofers, poor accountants

It went great. No delays or problems. I should say that my memory of the money estimate associated with this review may not be accurate.

Very pleased. George Tait did a great job of giving us advice on selecting colors, and explained his work very thoroughly. I would definitely use them again. They were very professional and nice people.

They were very good, excellent and provided all the services as promised. They were on time, did the service neatly and cleaned up very well. I will use them again in the future.

The job was done with great perfection. The old siding was removed and with the new siding the house looks 100 times better. The guys cleaned every thing up when they were finished and I was very impressed. This was real craftsmanship.

My experience with them was acceptable. They were good at coming out, but I had to have them come back to redo some things. The roofing was unattractively done. The person, who did the work, did not do it very well. Their price was good. Their estimate was low. They came out on time. I am not sure if I will use them in the future.

I have used Rock and Tait before to re-shingle my house and they were so efficient, fair, and professional that I did not hesitate to use them again. George Tait came to my house to get measurements for an estimate. I had already decided on the siding type and color, so we discussed the specifics of getting the corners of the house trimmed in white. He went back to his office to complete the estimate and I received it via e-mail that same night. I signed the contract and he told me they would order my siding and trim immediately and then should be ready to start within 2-4 weeks. They started the removal of the siding on Friday the 30th and by October 11th they had finished, cleaned everything from our yard, and left us with a beautiful newly sided house. They did an excellent job. They were there everyday working from start to finish and kept me informed of every step. They put up my new lighting and helped find a way to make my front entry door more attractive. They also provided the manpower to clean my gutters that really made my house shine like new when they left. As I said before, this is my second experience with Rock and Tait and I would recommend them to anyone. They are a truly efficient and impressive outfit. One more thing as a point of interest--when they re-shingled my house 4 years earlier, they had approximately 15-20 people working on my job...they started at 7AM and were completely finished and everything cleaned from the yard by 1PM that very same day...impressive.

They were very good outside of the price. The price was fairly expensive compared to the company that I chose.

They came in and completed their job within 3 days. They started Wednesday and finished Friday. They worked the entire time, took breaks when they were supposed to and were pretty efficient the whole time There was rain. They left the whole thing looking good. People were nice, respectful and professional. We are satisfied up to this point. Quite honestly, I would have like to see a lower price. Their punctuality after they confirmed when they would do it was spot on. I was woken up in the morning by a hammer.

Matt from Rock and Tait came out to our home and gave us a estimate on our roof. He also took the time to explain the process and what to expect from start to finish. Matt did everything promptly, there was no price changes from the estimate and our roof looks great. I personally liked that they have a showroom in Hudson. So when we were selecting our shingles we could go and look at our options in person instead of looking at a pamphlets. We would definitely use this company again in the future. I will also refer them to family and friends.
