+ -1 moreI was told by John it would be a week before he could do the job. We agreed upon a day and time. When that day and time arrived, John never showed up nor did he call to explain why. I even called him and left a message to return my call but I never heard back from him. Because of this poor customer service, I will never recommend Hallie Plumbing to anyone. Instead, I went to Kjelstad Plumbing and got taken care of very promptly and by a very friendly service person.
Description of Work: I called Hallie Plumbing 3 weeks ago to have a bathtub drain pipe and p-trap replaced.

+ -1 moreI have several jobs done by John (Hallie Plumbing) over the past few years. Every job was done with professionalism and quick service. I had him completely re-plumb my son's home. He has replaced a outside faucet that froze due to an error made by the original plumbing installers. He has installed an air exchanger for me that really improved my moisture problem. I would highly recommend him for all of your plumbing needs! He is highly skilled and very honest.

+ -1 moreJohn was on-time, answered questions with honesty, suggested changes to our existing water lines to make our life easier, and was willing to go to bat for us with the Building Inspector over pre-existing structure conditions. Overall service was wonderful and I'd be open to hiring him again, and referring him to friends. Only one criticism and that is he didn't take the time to protect our newly finished hardwood floors prior to his demo work. To be honest, we didn?t think of it either, but it was a lesson learned by both.
Description of Work: John replaced an old cast iron sewage pipe with PVC, and repiped water lines with Pex.

+ -1 moreI called him early in the morning to see if he could come out and look at our low water pressure problem. He said sure and took down the address, phone number, and name and said he would be out in the afternoon. At 5pm I gave up and called him again, he had forgotten about it and was home. He came out 20 min later and changed the items listed. He just walked in and went right downstairs, he didn't ask us what we were noticing. He just seemed very short and like all he wanted to do was get the heck out of there and go back home. Next time I will be calling someone who actually seems to want my business.
Description of Work: Had low water pressure, he fixed the switch, a pipe, gauge, and changed the filter.

Description of Work: called for leaking toilet seal; this he fixed fine. He caulked around shower stall; sloppy. Put in new tank flusher; poor fit first time-somewhat better on his no-charge return. Asked him to fix drain in old tub; this perploexed him and first try made it worse by backing up water into kitchen ceiling light below. he came back again and put in a different drain but did not seem to know how to deal with older homes and was in a hurry with cell phone ringing constantly. Did not charge for return trips-which is good.

I asked the plumber to come back on another issue and I haven?t heard from him. He said that he had to order parts for that and so I am assuming that he is just waiting for those parts. I will use the services of Hallie Plumbing in the future too.

+ -1 moreIt was a Sunday that we called him. He was here in less than 30 minutes after we called. He was really good and fixed the problem. He came back the next day to finish up. He said that he didn't charge us the full amount that he usually does because he had something else to do so he fixed the leak and came back the next day to do the regular valves. He didn't charge us double time and he gave us a good deal. He replaced two valves and the city shut off the water. He knew what he was doing and was here in a heartbeat. The price was fair and the quality was excellent. He said that he was actually in the neighborhood so we lucked out all around.
Description of Work: We used Hallie Plumbing to repair a leaky valve in the basement; we couldn't shut the water off.

Description of Work: John was amazing! I got his name from Menards. To be honest he is the only contractor I called - and I was totally justified. Converting a tub to a shower plus changes to the bathroom sink and toilet. He bid $400. plus materials. He was prompt, professional, personable and FAST. Estimated 5 hours but it took just over 3½ - despite additional work I threw at him last minute. John is a dedicated professional that I would, without hesitation, recommend for any work related to plumbing, heating and air conditioning. Last minute - he remembered that I'd asked him to remove my old cast iron tub. And he did it with no complaints. PLEASE - if you need a plumber in the Chippewa Valley, give John a call.
