Their ratings/reviews look good. So I tried requesting a quote. Unfortunately, the company never responded. As for hiring again, maybe if I could get a hold of them to talk to.

Mike did a great job. Due to weather this work had to be delayed until early December, but the results were great. In order to finish up before the first snow, Mike spent several hours prepping dirt and laying sod in the rain with temperature in the low 40's. We've also used him for other jobs in the past, and highly recommend his services.

Moved into a new home that had overgrown shrubs and trees around the entire house. Mike removed all plants (there were MANY of them) by hand so the lawn was not disturbed. An uneven flagstone walkway to the backyard patio was removed and a new paver sidewalk was installed. Excavation was again done by hand.

They have been excellent and reliable. Once he recommended a tree guy remove a branch that could cause damage to the home. We would highly recommend them and will continue to use them.

Mike was pleasant and easy to work with. He suggested features which we would've thought of.

Mike was fantastic. We requested quotes from a number of people for our project (many of whom never responded) and Mike had the best price and approach for everything we needed done. We broke our project into 2 tiers - we had to have a huge, elevated rock garden removed, land grading (whole yard), retaining walls, sidewalk and patio built, whole yard sod and tree planted. He was really responsive to doing the project in steps so we could break up the cost and spend some time deciding how we wanted it to look. He was upfront with costs and quick with quotes. He did an amazing job - was always on time and always got a ton of work done in a single visit. He doesn't send out crews, so he's always on site and you can discuss progress and next steps in person. He transformed what was previously an unwelcome, cramped space, into a lovely green space that we will enjoy for years to come! We will definitely hire him again to help with landscaping around the house once we get some other projects done.

Mike and his team did a wonderful job and it looks exactly like what we wanted. They were very professional and cleaned up at the end of every day. Highly recommend!

There was a time lapse from initial counter to actual work completed

Mike was very meticulous and patient with all the work. He was here. He & his crew cleaned up the areas. The block installation was very decorative & pleasant to look at.

Left a few voicemails and after a week and a half to 2 weeks I got a response. Seemed nice on the phone and an appointment for a quote was scheduled. Never showed up (at least that I know of) or heard from since.

At the beginning, he did a very nice job, but the service became worse and worse over the years, and I am using a different lawn service this year. I think, as his business grew, Mike may have taken on more work than he could really do with the employees he had and that may account for the poor service. In the spring, he would often wait until very late (as late as Memorial Day) to mow my grass for the first time, so it would look really bad for weeks before he actually showed up. After that, there were many weeks when no one would show up to cut the lawn, but he would still try to charge me, as if my lawn had been cut every week. In addition, he often completely skipped areas of the lawn (for example, around shrubs) that were harder to mow.

Reliable, professional and does an excellent job.

I was extremely pleased with the work Mike did. Mike was very professional and went out of his way to do the job. Mike also offered to use his own hoses and timed sprinklers to water the newly seeded area.. Since I was leaving town Mike said he would come back and check the seeded area to, make sure the area was being watered, and if any area needed repair he would do it. Mike spent three full days to complete the work and cleaned the entire area. I highly recommend Mike.

driveway was regraded and topped with fresh traffic bond. The options were discussed ahead of time and the men who came were very professional and did an excellent job. The results looked fantastic.

All went very well. He was thorough in his work and provided updates often. We were in no rush to have it done quickly so he was able to take his time in getting it done. He planted in the fall so this spring we were able to see how the plants look in full bloom. It's all very beautiful.

Mike and one of his employees arrived promptly mid-morning Saturday, as promised. They immediately began the work and did not stop until the job was completed, which was around 4 PM. They were extremely polite. We were really pleased with the way they cleaned up the site when they were finished with the project. We are thrilled with the way our backyard looks now, and will definitely recommend this landscape company to our friends and neighbors.

Contacted Mike Meyer Landscape Construction and Lawn Care on Monday, May 11, 2015 and left a voice mail to contact me regarding some landscape work that we wanted done. To this date 5/27/15, 2 1/2 weeks later, we have received no response from this contractor. We found his ad in the April Angie's list Monthly magazine and see it again in the May issue. Don't know why you would advertise if you can't respond to potential customers.

Mike was prompt in returning initial call. Came within days to give estimate. Very thorough work and cleanup. Priced reasonably and price quotes for the year stayed the same as discussed. Very friendly and personable. Will use him next year.

Quote was way out of line compared to another contractor.

Mike did multiple projects for me at my old house so I immediately thought of him when we moved to our new house and wanted to consider adding a raised garden bed. As always, Mike's work was top notch and he aims to please. I definitely would continue to recommend Mike Meyer to anyone in need of quality landscape services.

They are usually pretty prompt. The work is good and it is done quickly. A lot of his help had to go back to college, so he had to come out on the weekends to meet deadlines.

He was reasonable in price, very prompt and the estimates were fine. He will be doing more; he will be removing shrubs and some doing some advanced work. He was cheaper than all other providers. He is coming back to do more work.

There was some delay getting the project started but once started it went well. Pleased with the final result. There was good communication several times throughout the project. Miike was willing to take input and make changes to meet our requests. I would use Mike again. I got several bids and Mike was very competitive on price. I recommend him if your project is not too urgent to be completed. Mike uses a small staff and the project took several weeks to complete. We were not in a hurry. Pleased with final result.

The rate included dethatching and four sessions of fertilization. I had to pay a portion of it upfront and the rest of it will be settled after the jobs have been completed.

We called twice. Left message once and talked directly to someone the other call. Was promised a called to set up an appt for a review and estimate. Still Waiting for reply.
