Repeatedly called and left messages - talked once. They never called back. Their follow through is VERY bad.

Scott is an artist and repaired both the ding and the grip with a matching compound and unless you look extremely close, you cannot tell it has been repaired. The cost was very reasonable. I was at a loss for what to do because Maax Company told me I would have to hire a plumber to completely disassemble the air tub, remove it completely to replace the grip that was defective when we received it. Don't purchase Maax products. It is a Canadian company with poor customer service. Scott on the other hand is a life saver who does a fantastic job.

So, this is the story. My wife and I bought a new house. Before we got around to buying a bath mat, I fell in the shower and my knee punched a two-inch hole in the side of our Kohler acrylic whirlpool bathtub (I'm a big guy and I fell very hard). After two days of calling around, we found only one company that could do the work, but they said it would be too expensive and we should just buy a new bathtub. Not detered, however, my wife called the manufacturer of the bathtub. They suggested we contact Scott Sidney at Colorblend Services, LLC, which we did. Scott performed the repair in about two hours and did an excellent job. I've asked people who didn't know where the hole was to try to find it. Nobody has yet. If you know where to look, there is a very faint shadow where the repair was done because the light hits the repair differently than the original surface of the tub. That said, the repair really is nearly invisible. As of 9/19/09, it's been one month since the repair and all is well.
