Excellent! The service man was professional. He introduced himself and shook my hand. He let me know the situation, and the possible outcomes. Fortunately I had the lesser of the 2 possibilities. I appreciate his honesty and saving me money.

The leak was due to a failed CPVC to copper adapter, which was diagnosed and fixed without issue. The location made it difficult to access, but the plumber had no trouble replacing the CPVC with PEX. The drain cleaning went very well, they did at least two, possibly three passes through the lateral first with a 3" knife and then with a 4" knife. When they finished cleaning, they used a boroscope to get a video of the drain and assure it was completely free of roots. They used drop cloths on the floor where they brought in the machine, and left everything clean. I used to own a plumbing company and had a Master Plumbers license so I know good work, this is now the only plumbing company I will call.

Came out within 2 days of calling re:leak only did 1/3 of job took 2 more calls to get them back to complete other items on original call list they lost our file?

Pricing: First hour = $210 Use Camera Fee = $75 Per Hour after first hour = $105 Coupon: Angie's list first time customer -$25 I thought I had read other reviews on Angie's list that they were quoted $100 initially for the same job which is why I called in the first place. Perhaps they were returning customers or something. I had kind of assumed the pricing would be what it ended up being. The guy definitely knew what he was doing. We ran into some unique issues with my sewer drain so it ended up taking like 4 hours unfortunately. The biggest issue I had was the lack of clean up. There was no plastic put up or anything, so literal crap splattered all over the basement wall and basement sink and basement floor. There was a half assed attempt to clean the floor before he left, but I still had to redo it and then scrub the walls and the basement sink (sides and inside). So I had to pay $680 and then spend 2 hours cleaning everything up myself. Timing wise, I called Monday morning around 9AM and they were at my house around 3PM. So at least they were able to come the same day.

He gave us recommendations. He also pointed out that our pipes should probably be replaced, as they are rusting. We have a very old house and agree with his assessment.He recommends waiting on the pipes until after we get our septic system replaced. He also gave us an estimate of what it would cost to put in above ground laundry sump pump. Was very good on getting back to me.

They did a great job coordinating with the town, getting the permit and getting the work done well. I would definitely recommend them.

It went very well. Over the weekend our tub started leaking. Being a 100 year-old farmhouse it is our only shower so a bit of an emergency for a family of four. Even though they did not have any openings, Margery got us scheduled for Tuesday AM. Dan showed up right on time and was courteous, FAST and did a great job. Our tub drain should last another 100 years now.

The guys (Mark and Larry) who worked on my house came in, and man did they move! I have an older house (1953), that's probably never had the pipes cleaned, and they took care of it quickly and professionally. I loved seeing the pipes through the borescope. This was incredibly well priced for what they did. I will definitely have them back in the future.

My initial contact was with Mary. She asked very good questions and asked me to email photos of my issue. I did this the next day. I received a call from Marge the following day. Because I had scheduled someone else I did not use their services however, I would definitely call them in the future. Marge and Mary were both very easy to deal with.

We have used Budiac for prior projects and they have always been reasonable and knowledgeable. We highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

The gentleman who can out was prompt, efficient, friendly, and knowledgable. I couldn't have been happier with the service. He showed me the camera image of the main drain line, explained the state of the main line, and recommended a plan of service. He also gave information on preventative maintenance for the toilet and other issues.

They did a marvelous job. This water heater replacement was more of an emergency situation.

Office staff was very responsive to my needs. The crack and leak were discovered incidentally and this was not a true plumbing emergency. I sent a photo over to Roger, so he knew exactly where the repair was needed and he made sure the plumber had the needed parts. Nonetheless, they tried their best to get a plumber out the same day. His prior commitments took longer than planned and the office kept me informed of the time frame for the day. When it was clear that he could not get there that day, they office was great in accommodating to our schedule. The plumber arrived ahead of the planned time, was courteous and efficient. I would call upon Budiac Plumbing again in the future.

Went well. Plumber waited while I purchased a bathtub faucet.

He seemed very professional while he listened to what I needed. He had some good suggestions, too. However, as soon as he found out I was going to be selling the house soon, he became more interested in buying the house and turning it. I called his office at least three times after the initial visit to ask for his quote and left messages with the person at Budiac Plumbing, who was very helpful and cordial. However, he never returned my calls. I never got a quote from him or any correspondence. It was a complete waste of my time and I still do not understand why contractors cannot just be honest with people. If they are not interested in my job, please tell me so, don't leave me wondering and waiting.....

As part of a kitchen remodel, we moved our sink to another wall which was directly above an existing laundry tub in the basement. We also did not want a air gap for the dishwasher (which required a standpipe) and wanted a standpipe installed for our washing machine to be able to eventually remodel the basement. We had 3 different plumbers quote our project, and, because the project involved tying into existing plumbing and vents, we ended up with 3 different solutions. Plumber 1 said for various reasons, they could not do this or that. They were less expensive as a result, but not by much. Plumber 2 said they can do all that, but they wanted to re-size a drain in the concrete floor, and were literally twice as expensive. I called Budiac to get a 3rd opinion and discovered they were working a job literally right down the street. Their lead foreman met me at my hour within 30 minutes, Walked through the project and was the only one to actually sketch it out and note our existing drain was just big enough, and there was just enough room to work it all in. The job was scheduled quickly, the same lead foreman did all the work, everything was done well and professionally. They worked with me to temp the faucet in while we waiting on counter tops (which was a change of scope) and also saved a couple of cords from a previous job for me to use for the new DW and disposal I was providing, saving me a few bucks. We would definitely use them again.

This is an edit of a previous review. My first review rated this company very low on quality, responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism. Initially the RO system did not work very well, very slow recovery and very low total volume. After waiting a few weeks to allow for a break-in time, I called to report the issue and at the same time mentioned that I had another project ... A laundry area tub and cabinet update. Larry and Jim Budiac came out to look at the new project. Larry reviewed the plumbing aspects and Jim had several good ideas about cabinet design. There was a part that they needed to order for the RO system and within a week or so a technician came out and made some repairs to the plumbing of the RO system. The RO system continued to not work well, and they came out a third time and replaced the filters which were acknowledged to look strange for filters so new. In the mean time I had made several follow up call to both Larry and Jim for the promised design and quote. Jim said he was working in my neighborhood and asked if I could come to the site to see some examples of the type of cabinets he had in mind. I agreed and he said he would arrange a good time for my visit. I never heard back and despite many follow up calls (lost count). After the last filter change I asked the technician to relay the message I was still waiting. No call back for either Jim or Larry on the design/quote, and when the RO system improved a little but not close to the expected performance, I lost patience and essentially stopped calling. I have substantially improve my opinion of Budiac Plumbing, and I can recommend this vendor as a friendly family owned company. So what changed? Larry Budiac called when he say the Angie's list review. First, Larry followed up quickly and brought out the vendor of the RO system, and now that system is working very well. Second, In going over the history, I think my review of the performance of the initial job, the RO system with Budiac Plumbing, was perhaps unfairly influenced by the other laundry job which was actually a collaborative effort between Budiac Plumbing (Larry's company) and First Quality Woodwork (Jim's company). Every time I called specifically about the RO system, Budiac Plumbing did respond. I suspect things would have been resolved quicker with this system had I kept up the effort. Larry Budiac deserves credit for his follow up on this matter. I am now a satisfied, ... If slight frustrated customer.

Marge was very helpful in scheduling and making sure they had the required parts. Justin was timely, did there work well and was very pleasant to deal with. All in all an excellent experience.

I'm impressed with the quick response to my Angie's mail request. I had a call within hours. They also called the day before to confirm. The doorbell rang exactly at the appointment time. The serviceman worked efficiently and produced the results I desired.

They did a great job. They had all of the records on file from when they originally did the work many years ago. They were prompt.The guy that did it was was personable and pleasant. He came and got it done and I appreciate his efficiency.

We have repeatedly used Budiac and would not consider anyone else. Responsive, honest, and extremely competent. If there were a rating higher than "A," we'd give it.

I called in the morning and was quoted a price of $199 for the first hour and $99 for each additional hour. The worker arrived promptly at 10am, the same morning that I called, and got to work right away. He worked on it for a while and stated that he was having difficulty getting through the clog, and also that he may need additional cable to reach the part of the pipe in front of the house (between the house and the street). He kept working, and said he would call for additional cable if what he was doing didn't work. After 1.5 to 2 hours had gone by, I started becoming concerned about the progress and the cost. He said he wouldn't charge me for the time he was waiting for someone to come out and bring the additional cable. He was on the phone to his supervisor multiple times, then told me someone was coming with the cable, but then managed to get the pipe unclogged before Larry got here. He was done by 1:15-1:30, then it took some time for him to pack his things up and load the truck and prepare the bill. At 1:45, he gave me a bill for $615, which was considerably more than I expected. Given that he was working for less than 4 hours, I expected the bill to be between $400 and $500. But, I was charged for a full 4 hours of work, plus two additional charges that I had not been given any notice of before being handed the bill: a $57 "truck trip" fee and a $60 fee for use of a camera in the sewer line. At a minimum, the "truck trip" fee is ridiculous and should have been disclosed to me when I called. They should also tell people when they book the appointment that they will charge for the full hour even if they do not work it. I would not feel comfortable using Budiac again.
