Bloch provides the entire Milwaukee metro area, including Milwaukee’s North Shore, Ozaukee and Washington Counties, with major appliance repair, heating and cooling products and service, hydronic heating—including in-floor radiant heating and boilers and a full range of indoor air quality products.

Description of Work: My 12 year old dryer started making noise and vibrating. I phoned Bloch which is only about 5 miles from my home. The employee removed the bottom panel, took out some lint and put the panel back on. He spent 10 minutes on the job and said the bill would be $92. I said that was way too much, after pressuring him, he reduced it to $72. plus tax. He spent time conversing about his political beliefs (which I don,t share) and left. It was an overpriced, unpleasant encounter.

We contacted this customer after she posted her response/comments regarding service work. The customer admitted her response was not accurate. We serviced two appliances not one. she was charged our minimum fee for the repairs. She has used us in the past and knows our rates. She said she was use to having her handyman come and do things like this for $15.00. There were more inaccuracies in her review as well.

Cost less than I expected.
Description of Work: Gas dryer would not ignite all the time. Left a key for the door and let them do their thing. Arrived on time with the correct parts, repaired dryer and left bill. Great.

Description of Work: I CALLED THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEIR NAME WAS ON MY BROKEN DRYER AND I HAVEN''T USED A REPAIR SERVICE SUCH AS THIS BEFORE. THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN WAS HOURS LATE - DESPITE THE FACT THAT I HAD MADE IT CLEAR BY WHAT TIME HE NEEDED TO BE IN AND OUT OF MY HOUSE BECAUSE I HAD TO LEAVE FOR WORK. WHEN I CALLED TO RESCHEDULE HE SEEMED MIFFED THAT WHEN HE DID ARRIVE FOR THE APPOINTMENT (12 HOUR AFTER THE TIME HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FINISHED AND OUT OF THE PLACE) MY YOUNG CHILD WHO WAS ALONE AT HOME WOULDN''T LET HIM IN - PER MY INSTRUCTIONS. HE SAID HE''D PREFER NOT TO RESCHEDULE AT ALL, STATING THAT I WAS FAR AWAY FROM HIS BUSINESS AND THEY WERE A SMALL FAMILY OWNED OPERATION. WHEN I ASKED IF HE COULD RECOMMEND SOMEONE IN MY AREA AND HE SIMPLY SAID NO AND HUNG UP ON ME. THEY SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME FROM THE START IF MY LOCATION WAS OUTSIDE OF THEIR SERVICE AREA AND I DIDN''T APPRECIATE BEING TREATED THAT WAY. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY UNLESS THEY UNDERWENT A SERIOUS ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT.

An appointment time was set up to go to this persons apartment, A service tech was dispatched and "no one" was home, this happened 3 times, she kept saying "they forgot" for each of the 3 appointments.. We do not know what she is talking about when she said "she left a young child at home alone", No one was home that we know of. She did not want to set up another appointment as they were moving.
