+ 1 moreThey did not even finish the job entirely, but still took all the money paid for the service. They never showed up when they said they were going to show up. They were friendly, but that is no excuse for the type of work we received.
Description of Work: They did not fix the ice standing. When they put in the toilet it leaked down into the first floor again, so we had to have it redone. They also installed the shower and did a very poor job, which also resulted in it leaking. They did not paint the top of the shower so it molded completely over. They did a very poor job on the drywall and painting.

Description of Work: we were very impressed when we met with Scott, one of the owners and he looked over our remodeling job. He seemed very interested.. We asked him to give us a bid and after not hearing anything for a couple of weeks we called and he apologized, there had been a death in his partners family, but he would get it to us shortly. When we didn't hear anything, I emailed him and he assured me that he would get the bid to me that night or the next AM at the latest. We never heard from him again, in spite of several calls asking him to please let us know what was up and even asked that he just tell us if he wasn't interested. No response. He really left us in the lurch with no fair warning - VERY unprofessional and inconsiderate.

+ -1 moreScott Nelson and FinishLine are top-notch builders and home remodelers. They take great pride in their work as they are genuine craftsmen at their jobs. Scott came to our home to help us choose a storm door as well as offer some suggestions for what we could do to fix a problem window and doors to our deck. He was so honest in giving us pricing information for a variety of options and impressed us with giving us tips as to what we could do ourselves to save money. My mother is a widow, and Scott was very sympathetic to the fact that mom and I are trying our best to take care of our home in Cambridge. We did order a storm door, and the FinishLine worker who came to install the door did a great job. He arrived when he said he would and completed the job quickly and professionally. The door looks great! As far as the options for the window and deck doors, we took Scott's advice and are happy with the outcome. But we do know that if anything further needs to be done, he is more than happy to help. I sent him an email the other day to ask a question about our driveway, and he got back to me so quickly! Finally, we have seen the work that FinishLine has done in our area, and I must day that it is impressive work...high quality from start to finish, including cleanup. I highly recommend Scott Nelson's company for any home remodeling or building job!
Description of Work: FinishLine ordered and installed a storm door in the front of our house. Scott Nelson also checked on a problematic window and deck doors for refinishing options.
