Description of Work: Steve Hynek installed new countertops in the kitchen and china cabinet in a house I was getting ready for sale.

Description of Work: When I installed a new dishwasher, I had new countertops installed at the same time. The contractor that installed the dishwasher, recommended this company to make and install the countertop. The owner came to my home but did not bring any samples of his work. He kept describing his work as "one piece construction" When he installed the countertop, the was a solid black line at the point where the front vertical edge met the horizontal countertop and another black line at the top of the backsplash. He said there was absolutely nothing he could do to rectify this problem including financial compensation for my displeasure. I hired another contractor, B&B cabinetry, that placed a rounded half circle front on the front edge that virtually eliminated the black line on the front of the counter but he said he could not do anything for the backsplash black line without removing the whole countertop .I was extremely pleased with their work and price.
