We choose them, we asked when they were going to come and they said October. That was late and they never came out. We've heard that's not unusual for them. In October our property manager kept calling them, and they said that we were on the schedule. We gave them our proposal, they accepted it, put us on the schedule, and they never sent anything. Our property manager talked to her manager and she said that it wasn't unusual for them. The pricing was very competitive but, they didn't do anything, so it was useless. I consider that unprofessional and we will not contact them again.

I have been using Dublin for years and first learned of him through his work painting/staining our condos. His work is thorough, professional and the people who work for him represent his work ethic. They are neat, no paint spatters, and since I do not have a wash tub, they take their paint brushes with them to clean them elsewhere. Used non-VOC at my request and it worked very well. I would not use anyone else! No Don'ts!!

Did a good job on our historic duplex at 1122 Cass. Contacted Jim Dublin to come and bid 2634 N Summit to paint trim and maintenance as a repeat client after painting our duplex on Cass Steet. Jim Sr. came and met with me. Asked for quote twice. Four weeks later Bill, my partner asked for quote again. Said that he had been busy and would get to us as soon as possible. Two weeks later still no quote. We even left a fourth message today. Not sure why. We like punishment? Is this a way to treat a prior paying, loyal stomer? On to O'Brien and other great exterior painters on the Upper East side. Say, It's not a cost thing. We wanted to be loyal. We'll take our business elsewhere. Jim Schleif -Shorewest Realtors

They did a great job

It went very well. The site manager was very co-operative and re-scheduled a few units because the owners needed the work done to agree with planned visitors. When a few missed trim areas were pointed out, a painter was brought in the next day to cover the omission. The painters were very professional and personable. They were carefull to protect landscaping.. When completed, we were invoiced for the the quoted amount without any add-ons. Dublin Contractors will be aked to paint and stain the remainder of the units next year.

Excellent. I called on a Thursday in a panic because our home was going on the market the following Tuesday, with a few athetic details we wanted to finish. He assured me someone would be out as soon as the weather warmed. On Monday it was raining. At the first break, an employee arrived and finished the job perfectly. Everyone's professionalism & attention to detail was appreciated. If we weren't leaving the area we would continue to hire & recommend Dublin.

Everyone was good to work with, from estimate, to booking, follow through & actual painting. They offered their opinions to make things more efficient, cleaned up as they moved from room to room & making the process a painless one. We have worked with Dublin on every paint job & recommended them to friends & neighbors; as we will continue.
