They are great to work with and they even scheduled the tree removal and tree planting on the same day for us. Both crews were excellent. They did an amazing job and even worked in the rain to complete the work. I recommend Dorshak for prunning, treatment, removal, and planting.

I will definitely hire them in the future for some tree removal services since I have some dead trees in my wooded portion of my lot.

+ -1 moreI was extremely impressed with every aspect of my experience with Dorshak from start to finish. We had a large project (four trees removed, plus stump grinding, and five additional trees trimmed) and called several local companies to get quotes. Within two days of my call to Dorshak, Myron, the owner, came to my house to inspect the trees and give me a quote. He was polite, friendly, and patiently answered all my questions. Myron handed me a quote before leaving that day, and I was surprised to see that his price was significantly more affordable than those of the other companies I had contacted. The other thing I greatly appreciated was that Dorshak gave me several options within the quote: amounts were listed for if I chose to have stumps ground or not, if I chose to have the stump grindings hauled away or not, etc. The work itself was perfect. All four of the trees were removed without a trace. No branches or sticks were left in my yard, and it truly looked like the trees had just vanished while I was gone at work that day. The workers must have meticulously walked my yard and picked up the sticks. The trees that were trimmed were left looking healthy with no visible dead limbs. I worked with Dorshak during a very busy tree season when many people were having dead ash trees removed, so I was scheduled out a few months, but this schedule was clearly communicated to me ahead of time and throughout the process. The workers always showed up as promised and completed their work quickly. I would go with Dorshak again in a heartbeat, and if I ever have future work that needs to be done, I will be calling them without hesitation.

+ -1 moreEXCELLENT!,, Myron Dorshak came to the house about 3 yrs ago and diagnosed the scale that was appearing on my 3 large pines (about 30 feet tall). Beautiful mature trees that I certainly wanted to keep. Myron suggested an annual spray program to get rid of the scale. The trees are beautiful again. Dorshak’s were very prompt and within budget. They are presently doing work for me on a birch tree that needs some trimming. Excellent responsiveness and always communicate!

+ -1 moreThey send bogus people out from their company to give you a quote but when the team comes out to do the work they tell you they can’t do it for that price. What a rip off company! Don’t bother with them! First bid was for $1470. They asked me if I wanted them to come out and rebid it. So I told them sure . I’d like to see what your real bid is. So first bid was for lift truck cut and haul all wood and grind stump do $1470.00 when they rebid it for eactly the same it was for $2384.00 . THAT’S A BIG DIFFERENCE! I think you should honor your first bid !
Description of Work: I had them come out and give me a bid. They gave me a bid and when they came out to do my neighbors tree I talked to the supervisor if that crew and said I have a bid and would like to go ahead and have them do my quote also. He said that the neighbors quote said they could come on my property to cut his tree in the back. I said I had to talk to neighbor which I did and had him sign that I would not be responsible if something happened when they were on my property . They couldn’t get the lift truck in the neighbors yard. When the supervisor came in my back yard and said do you have your quote and I said “yes right here” . He took a look and said that quotes not right. I said what do you mean. He said we can’t cut that tree down for that quote. I said “ It’s a quote from your company. George quoted it. He said I have to talk to the owner. They finished the neighbors tree in front. Then they left. I called the company and they had the owner talk to me. He told me that they could not honor that quote. I said but you came out and gave me this quote. He said that that person was out sick and they could not honor that quote. He said to look at back of the quote and in small print it says if I or the company for whatever reason decides to cancel they can. I feel if you are a reputable company and you send an employee out to give a quote you should honor your quotes. If the supervisor on the crew that actually comes out to do the work can just cancel a quote why aren’t they the ones to do the quote. Very frustrating. Very poor customer satisfaction. Why waste my time if you are sending people out to give a quote and then not do the work for that quote. I hope everyone reads this review and know you don’t know what your quote really is!
