+ -1 moreI have still not heard from them about this. The owner came out to look at our problem. He said we needed a chlorinator system. We paid $600 to fix a short and he sent two people to do it. It was a one man job and I felt like we spent an exorbitant amount.
Description of Work: They actually did a repair. There was a short. I told them when I paid the bill that I thought they took advantage of us.

+ -1 moreSteve was already at the shop so he had me bring the old unit in. He matched it up and sold me a replacement. He also said that there had been several of this brand/type gas valve that had problems; and that i should call the manufacturere for a replacement. He gave some advice on how to replace since I already had much of it apart. I got the heater running (still with occasional lockouts) so we had hot water and then got the replacement gas valve and changed it out. That fixed it. So, parts on a weekend and some good advice when he could have just said I need to come out. I will use them again for parts or a service call.
Description of Work: I had a powervent water heater that would go into "lockout" for no real reason. In trying to fix it, I broke the igniter. I needed an igniter on the weekend or no hot water. Steve supplied an igniter and some free advice and I fixed it.
