Top notch! I have been in the construction business for almost 40 years, including spending time as a mason tender. I was concerned about them matching the mortar color. We first had our chimney repaired by Pratt this past summer. We couldn’t have been happier with the quality of the work that was done. Andrew did a phenomenal job with repairing the brick on our chimney as well as the flute. We were so pleased with the overall job that we had them install a gas fireplace insert. Everyone involved were so professional and knowledgeable. Angie helped us along the way to pick out the product we were happy with. AJ came out and explained the entire process and supplied us with a very fair quote for the job, and our installers, Dan and Jacob, who did an unbelievable job installing our unit. They were very respectful of our property and made sure to cover all the areas they were working around and cleaned up along the way. They also were very knowledgeable about the unit and explained everything to us before leaving. I would definitely recommend Pratt for all of your chimney maintenance needs.

This summer, I noticed water marks on a basement wall underneath the chimney, so I wanted to be sure there was not a leak, even though during recent rains I had not noticed any wet spots. Andrew from Pratt Chimney came out, and inspected the chimney. I appreciated his honesty that he found nothing wrong with the chimney, and provided details to support his conclusion. I appreciate not only when a contractor can give you a fair price, but also when he provides a honest assessment. Pratt had done previous work on the chimney, and after seven years, it was good to know that the work had held up. I would certainly recommend the firm to others.

I had a great 1st time experience with Pratt for the services I had performed. I called to make an appointment on a Saturday and was told the first opening was not until late December. I then requested to be contacted if there was an opportunity to move it up sooner because I wanted to get it done before the snow came. About an hour later I received a call back that a technician was in the area and was ahead of schedule for the day and could be over in about an hour. Brad from Pratt came over, described what he was going to do and got to work. He was careful with bringing in his equipment into the house to not make a mess and cleaned up when finished. I asked him to take a few pictures of the chimney cap that he provided in the inspection report which was in my in-box before he left the driveway. He answered my questions, made some suggestions, and was very professional during his visit. Definitely recommend!

Very friendly person that received my call when making my appointment. Technician came between the time window that was given, and he was friendly, courteous and professional. He recommended that I get a screen which I did not have done then, but I will definitely call them back in the spring when I have this service done. They will have my recommendation.

Fantastic! Steve (the owner) personally did the work. What I'm most impressed with is the pride of ownership that Steve has. I had Pratt's do a chimney inspection a few months ago. Communication broke down between me and the employee. Steve (the owner) immediately went out of his way to make things right by refunding my inspection, giving me a discount, and getting the requested work down right. Pleased with service provided by Shawn and associate. New cover is designed much better than the old one. Wood trim was not replaced due to an unforeseen issue - no fault of Pratt's. Shawn brought the problem to our attention and talked through options. We decided to defer this work to consult with a siding company. We appreciate Shawn's honesty and recommendation. Very pleased with Pratt. Appointment scheduling was easy. They came out and quoted two options - repair or replace. Repair made the most sense. They returned a couple of weeks later and got the job done. Pricing for the work performed was very reasonable. Would definitely call them if needed in the future.

While I called for a 'chimney' issue, the problem was actually not a chimney problem. Issue was caused by improperly placed fireplace logs. The technician showed me this from the (fireplace) vendor website. He then replaced all the logs per the vendor specs and removed the soot from the fireplace. The fireplace looks amazing. The technician was outstanding! He was very clear in explaining the problem as well as the resolution. He executed the fix in a very clean and timely fashion, despite the large amount of soot accumulated. I highly recommend Pratt Chimney services!

We hired Pratt’s in Burlington, Wi to do repairs on our chimney. The team of Tyler, Kyle, Sam and Dillon were sent to our home to complete the repair. They were on time, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They kept me advised on what was being done and it was completed in a timely manner. The pricing is fair and reasonable. We got 3 formal bids, and 1 general estimate for repair and liner/cap for a 30-year old chimney. 3 of the 4 were from the top of Angies List. Pratt was prompt, their quote was in-line with lowest quote (a non-AngieList chimney sweep), and substantially less than the other 2 Angies List companies. They were prompt, professional, and performed exactly as promised.

Pratt's was awesome from the beginning. Hired to come do a chimney sweep and gave evaluation of some work that needed to be done. Bricks had popped off in winter and so needed brick work outside, as well as a rebuild of interior bricks to bring everything to code. They did the work quickly and it looks beautiful. They were very knowledgeable and to the point. Most definitely would hire them again.

Excellent and knowledgeable crew. Punctual, polite, hardworking and cleaned up beautifully. I didn't get other price quotes because it was raining and rain was runners Down my chimney into my house. I called Pratt and they were here within the half hour. It was pouring rain and they didn't hesitate to go on the roof in the rain. II believe their price was fair and I was glad to pay them. I called them 1st because it's a family business and they are all military veterans and their NAME is important to them, as it should be. I will continue calling Pratt for future maintenance. Brad found the clay liner mortar joints were all broken due to water and age. He took pictures to show me. He provided a quote to repair and said it probable was not worth cleaning since the chimney insides needed to be replaced. I agreed. Will call in them spring for the repairs. I appreciated Brad's honesty and professionalism.

Arrived promptly and had professional, pleasant demeanor. After looking at the chimney he indicated that there wasn't enough build-up to require cleaning at this time. He educated is on maintenance and did not charge for the call. Would strongly recommend.

The owner came out, went in the basement, in the home, and up on the roof. He determined our home doesn't even need a chimney anymore and to knock it down! They were too busy to do it this year, but said my husband could do it himself. FINALLY an honest down to earth company that isn't trying to rip people off. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs chimney work done, cleaning, anything!!! We were so impressed.
