Installed in one day, correctly and with a smile on their faces. Quote listed exact equipment to be installed and additional services I requested. Couldn't ask for more. A satisfied customer here.

They made sure I understood that the sealant may not seal the leak, and that if that was the case, I would have wated the money.

I purchased a big deal for them. The experience was fine. The experience was okay, nothing great, just okay. They were courteous and neat. I didn't have any issues with the technician.

eteThis discount coupon was purchased last Fall and not redeemed until March of this year. There was no contact with the vendor until then because I had moved into this house, which I inherited in late 2012, and had not finished unpacking until March. The vendor explained that the discount coupon was not representative of the actual work to be performed and that the experience his company had had with Angie's List regarding this coupon offer was deeply disturbing and unsatisfactory. The vendor was, in fact, no longer a member of Angie's List and would not enroll with them again. However, the vendor agreed to honor the coupon and to perform the furnace tuneup at an additional cost which would equal the vendor's cost for the service. These terms were readily agreed upon by me and the service was performed. My personal experience with Angie's List is limited to this incident and a handyman I contracted with in 2012 to take care of some tasks at the homes of my adult children. Both the handyman and the furnace service expressed deep dissatisfaction with their interactions and business dealings with Angie's List. It is my impression that Angie's list is not so much concerned with service to the members as it is with maximization of profit for the Angie's organization. I have heard similar expressions of dissatisfaction with being a vendor listed with Angie's List from a leading swimming pool builder in Florida who is a relative of mine and from friends who have been member of Angie's List. I would speculate that Angie's List could use an overhaul of corporate process and goals in order to move away from what seems to me to be a system that holds vendors hostage while providing little incentive to remain on the list. To complete this review, the actual service was above satisfactory but Angie's List's reputation has slipped seriously in my estimation.

I thought that I would be able to use this deal for a furnace tune up, but when I spoke with the company, they informed me it was only for repair. They were very polite and they did offer me a different deal for $10 more so I did schedule the service for the fall tune up.

We were very pleased with the service that was provided and the honesty! They did the tune up, replaced the heating element and recommended some other services that will eventually need to be done. I would definitely use them in the future.

UPDATED 11/3/11: I was refunded my money after a discussion with Mark. I appreciated their follow up to my concerns.

Rich at Elements was exceptionally responsive from the beginning. I had the energy efficiency upgrades included with the purchase of the home and the lender required cost savings analysis as part of the review and approval process; Rich provided these same day. He also provided the required paperwork for the applicable tax credits. Installation went smoothly, they removed the old equipment, and cleaned up afterwards. I can definitely tell the difference from the old equipment and the new and am looking forward to lower utility bills. Outstanding experience from start to finish.
