Everything went very well. They did what no other so called gutter professionals in Milwaukee could do.The crew found out an electric issue that needed attention, and also discovered that we did not need new roof ice melt wiring after all. They were very honest and professional. The install crew was on time, honest, friendly and were driving a well stocked newer truck.Work was done in a timely manner, and job site was cleaned up also. The owner Jim was very easy to deal with and knowledgeable. He was not hurried, and answered our questions honestly.

He provided a complete analysis of a variety of different options, we have not quite decided exactly what approach we will use but we appreciate his analysis.

Jim came at the agreed time and walked around the house with me. We had quite a few gutter problems. We had a gutter that was too short, missing downspouts, and our downspouts were attached to the front of the house. The downspouts on the front of the house didn't look good, and prevented us from doing some of the victorian restoration we want to eventually do. The short gutter allowed water to go right by it. This caused large ice dams in the winter, and water pooling on the foundation all summer. Jim made the new gutter longer, and put a guard on it. All corners now have guards as well. The downspouts were moved to where I specified, and the new installation is solid, complete, and attractive. Other notes: Jim was cooperative and cheerful about special colors and possibly having to order a color. Jim is responsive on Angie's list and via text; which many providers aren't. I never saw any mess at all.

The gutters on our 1912 home were in terrible shape and we contracted Energy Masters to replace them. Jim was very informative and his crew did an excellent job while being professional and courteous. His first quote seemed astronomical in terms of price and his sales tactics when quoting the gutter work were a bit pushy, offering discounts for making a decision on the spot, but he ultimately proposed some solutions and worked with me to come to an agreement that I was very happy with. We ended up spending about twice what another seamless gutter contractor quoted but I feel the quality of materials and workmanship are well worth it. I can't remember having ever seen gutters elsewhere that are as durable and well installed. Jim also spent some time diagnosing some roofing issues and offering up some solutions without pressuring me to contract him for those services. Mid-install there was an unexpected need for some additional equipment to finish the job that I know added to the cost and he took care of it with no impact to me or the project schedule. The guys in the crew who did the work were professional, pleasant and got the job done quickly. The job took two days and they didn't do a fantastic job cleaning up between work days but the site was left spotless when the work was completed. Ultimately I'm extremely pleased with the end result and would recommend Energy Masters to anyone considering gutter work.

One year ago my corner gutter was leaking like a water fall. There was a lot of rain last year. My gutters were getting clogged from leaves and other plant material. Energy Masters came out and did an estimate asap. They sealed a hole in the corner and added Raindrop on existing gutters. They said the gutters did not need to be replaced at this time. The gutter covers work fantastic ! I no longer need to get up on the ladder and empty out all of the leaves and helicopters and buds that used to clog my gutter. The only issue was the corner that was sealed still drips and was never completely sealed up, but I guess it is the best that can be done for the existing gutters. The price seemed expensive considering they did not replace the gutters, but I guess that is what it costs.

Energy Masters was very knowledgeable with not only the gutter work, but all of the other attributes that surround the installation of the gutters. Jim personally came out inspected the existing gutters and went into detail of the existing state of the gutters and the options of replacement. After the walk though, he described varies options and took all things into consideration (cost, timing, options, etc). He was very upfront and honest about his opinions and recommendations. In addition, his opinions were backed by sound reasoning and experience. I would highly recommend his services. Well done.

Working with Jim was a total pleasure, from his quick response seeing me, to his on time estimate of work completed. Everything went exceptionally well, from the very first sales meeting to the installation of my gutters. Jim, the owner of the company went out of his way to help me out with issues that I ran across with another work that was done by another contractor and helped me resolve the problem with the help of his crew. Jim and his crew went beyond the call of duty. I had never had such a wonderful experience working with such a professional and respectful company. I would recommend Energy Masters to everyone. I just wish that I had called him a week earlier before I had my siding done by another company .I would have saved myself a lot of headaches and some money! Jim McGuigan delivered as he promised. Removed old roofs and replaced with new decking, under layer and shingles. Very efficient and timely. Clean up was done well. Great work. Great roof!

/2014This was a business owner who went above and beyond the necessary. He offered such reasonable advice. He explained things to make them understandable. The owner made the initial evaluation of what we would need. I would hire him again in a minute.

They were very knowledgeable and helpful

Very, very well. They came earlier (sooner - not earlier in the morning :) than estimated which was good, as our gutters were leaking and causing problems. They were professional, friendly, and hard working. They finished the job (and cleaned up) in two days. I had a slight concern which was addressed promptly, intelligently, and without further charge.

It went great. Quote was very reasonable. I never once felt as if he was trying to sell me something I didn't need. Workers came, did a great job, cleaned up and left. Jim came out the next day and we inspected the work done to my house. I was pleased with the promptness, cleanliness and devotion to details. And, Jim was wonderful and easy to deal with through this entire process.

Jim and his guys were great and efficient. They did top notch work. We have a vaulted ceiling in our attic and now it is a comfortable living space due to all of the insulation they installed. We liked them so much that we had them back to do our roof and our windows. They went above and beyond expectations. We are very happy with them.

The job was done right and the price was right. They are not a fly by night operation and you can feel confident in their work. I have now called them back for more work, this time on the garage since they did such great job on the house.

He is a Gutter Ninja. Absolutely excellent. There aren't enough avail. characters to list all of the reasons how and why I am so pleased, so I will sum up Jim and his crew by saying this: Besides being extremely knowledgeable, and a great problem solver, Jim is a guy who I found to be a perfectionist, paid attention to ALL details, no matter how small, and someone who takes great pride in his work.

I called Energy Masters to get a quote for having my wood trim covered with fascia and soffit. I also needed new gutters installed. Jim came to my house at the scheduled time and explained what type of services they do and materials they use. We walked around my entire house and he explained how he would hand my house. I felt very comfortable with Energy Masters so I decided to have the work done. Jim thought it would be about 8 weeks before the job would start. To my surprise I received a phone call from Jim 4 weeks early. They started the job on June 16th with Jack and Pete doing the work. They stated it would take about 4 days to do their part of the job. This was also the week that we received several inches of rain. Some days the work could not be done and other days it rained in the morning. On these days they showed up after the rain stopped. The whole time Jack was calling me about the schedule. They had a Saturday that was clear and they showed up in the morning and worked all day. They finished the job right before the gutters were installed. The gutters were a heavier gauge of aluminum. The corners were the old fashion type that do not wear out like the cheap corners that are bought at stores. When it was all done my house looked great. And the friendly professional nature of all the folks at Energy Masters is why if I need other work done I will use them again.
