They are professional, nice and easy to work with. I like they are not up-selling too much but also honest if something is a bad idea. They treat you like a true customer, never talking down to you but also being very reasonable in estimates or ideas. Make you feel easy to work with and thus makes them easy to work with.

Very pleasant on the phone when I made the initial call inquiring about buying mulch by the yard. Knowledgeable about the different types and uses, helpful in choosing mulch that fit my needs. I shopped around a bit and found their prices competitive. I ordered cedar mulch from Messner as they were very nice to deal with and were able to deliver in a very reasonable amount of time. The mulch was good quality and clean. I will purchase from Messner again and recommend them to others.

Excellent work!! We worked with DJ and Doug to get the estimates and they were quick to give our initial quote as well as quick to respond to quoting on some additional work. We had two of our landscaped beds re-landscaped with new plants and removal of old plants, including dead evergreens. We also had the rest of our beds cleaned up, weeded and re-mulched. We were so impressed with their work and attention to detail. The crew was prompt and professional. Our neighbor was so impressed with their work that he asked for a referral!

Didn't trim back as much as instructed; layer of mulch thinner than agreed upon.

These folks do great work. They are a little 'pricy', but consistent quality. They have performed 'extras' (rubble removal) when needed with minimal incremental cost. I expect to continue to use their services.

We bought a new house in the winter and were looking for a service provider to take care of our lawn and garden that was in need of a lot of repairs and care. We contact them via Angie s list and unlike many others they got back to us ASAP. They sent someone to see the property and sent us an estimate right away with a lot of options. Since we are not big experts in this area I call them and asked for some recommendations and explanations about what to do. They sent us one of their managers, Jose, who came to our place and was very caring and trustful in explaining and recommending everything we should do, not trying to push all their services but even helping us in finding ways to save some money. After we made our selections, in the same week, they came with a great team and performed everything exactly the way it was promised. We liked so much their service and their quality that we decided to select them as our permanent lawn service provider, closing an one year contract with them.

Messner does the lawn care and landscaping maintenance for our condominium association. They do a great job of doing what they're asked to do. We've used them for just about everything you can think of - seeding, pruning, mowing, snow removal, etc. The only thing that I didn't like was the excessive amount of salt that was applied to our walkways. Otherwise, great job!

Very well. I had some other work going on in my yard, and they were great about working around the other schedules.

They were punctual and came when they said they would. They charged exactly what they estimated it would cost. They were courteous about moving their equipment over our lawn. They were quite good.

When I called, a representative (Deb) actually answered, unlike many services where I would get a recording asking me to leave a message. Deb was professional and personable, picking up right away on exactly what I would like done--pruning and weeding of overgrown landscaping around the entire house and along the lot borders. She said she'd send someone out right away to write an estimate and that it would be sent to me via email. Within 24 hours, had the estimate which was very reasonably priced. I scheduled the service and was given a date to expect the work would be done. It wasn't done that date due to rain, but when I arrived home the next day from work, my house looked completely different, for the better. They did an excellent job and had removed all the debris. That night I had an invoice via email, called to confirm payment by credit card, and once again, Deb was professional and friendly. I have used other services in the past, and none compare to the professionalism and reasonable cost provided by Messner Landscaping. I will definitely use them again!

I've had great service from these people all summer. I would like to continue with them for next year. Great work guys!

Messner does both the landscape maintenance and the snow removal on our small commercial property. We switched a couple of years ago from a large local competitor because of the price, and we have been very happy with the service. Landscape maintenance is done on a regular schedule with no effort on our part. They do everything in the contract, including clean up every time, and the place always looks decent. (Not and quot;amazingand quot; because we chose not to pay for that level of service!) They also periodically make recommendations - with estimates - for additional services, but never pressure us if we don't accept the recommendations. Snow removal is always done before our business hours, or during the day if snow gets deep. I was a little worried about the capabilities of a smaller company to keep up with unpredictable snow fall, but we have never had a problem. They were willing to work with us to keep as many parking spaces open as possible, and are much more respectful of our landscaping/parking barriers than the previous company was. For both services we have made occasional special requests and they were handled promptly. I also get occasional phone calls from Josand eacute; just checking in to make sure everything is OK. We are certainly one of Messner's smaller accounts, but we have never felt like we didn't matter.

I work out of state and needed someone to come with short notice and the sales rep came the day after I called. They were able to fit us in within just a couple of weeks of contact and we love the results.

We hired Messner because we had to move out of state but hadn't been able to sell our house. When checking with neighbors, the lawn was always well tended, the grass kept at a reasonable length. The fertilization and weed control seemed to be effective. The one problem we did have was with the fall cleanup. They trimmed our hydrangeas nearly to the ground (they didn't need this because they bloom on both new and old wood) and left a large mustard weed standing. It should be noted that I never contacted Messner about this issue because I was out of town and the house had sold so they did not have the opportunity to address this mistake. Also, they will email your bills if you prefer.

Everything went like clockwork. The crew showed up on time, DJ came to go over the work with the crew and me. My yard has never been this cleaned up and devoid of leaves, ever!

Matt, the foreman went above and beyound of what was expected. He made additional suggestions to the the original plan which made more work for him, but made the results that much more pleasing. Awesome job!

They come when they say they will come. They tell me the price before they do something so I am aware. They are professional and do things like I want them to be done. They are very time efficient. They are very easy to work with. They do a great job.
