I needed to upgrade my old kitchen cabinets and have flooring installed and Caliber did an excellent job. They responded quickly to my inquiries, gave me detailed quotes, and walked me through the many options I had for wood, fixtures, etc. Nate, the carpenter, was terrific. Friendly and professional, always on time, very detailed and meticulous in his work, cleaned up every afternoon before he left for the day. He even re-installed the blinds I needed to remove to have some moldings replaced. I have no hesitation recommending Caliber cabinetry.

Caliber Custom Cabinetry did a fantastic job in our kitchen remodel. In less than a month, they completely removed the old kitchen down to the floor and reinstalled a brand new kitchen with beautiful cherry cabinets and new countertop, sink, appliances and electrical work. These cabinets and drawers are not just surface attractive, either. They front solid maple boxes with dovetail construction and soft-close doors and drawers. The design work of both Andy and Nicci Holtzen was a huge help and flawless in execution. If you are considering any remodel involving cabinetry, whether it be kitchen, bathroom, or other room, you would be foolish not to get a bid from this company. It was the best remodel of my life and my wife and I just celebrated our 52nd wedding anniversary--a period that includes a LOT of home remodeling in houses all over the United States.

These folks were WONDERFUL! They have small company so concentrate entirely on job at hand and do it more quickly than time estimates given me by larger outfits. They do quality work and are perfectionists! Nicci and Andy are delightful, professional and take such pride in their work. I cannot say enough good things about them. I miss them being here and will hire them again in a heartbeat.

Our new kitchen is gorgeous. We absolutely love everything about it, we would not change a thing. Andy and Nicci are very easy to work with. Everything went great. I would recommend them to anyone that wants to remodel their kitchen, bathroom or building a new home.

It was a wonderful experience! Nicci and Andy are very professional and really know what they are doing! They lightened the stress of remodeling our kitchen with timely assistance to keep us on track with decisions, as well as timely implementation. It was obvious they had done this a time or two in the past. We picked out a silestone counter, they suggested knobs, a sink, a faucet, etc. They installed it all and it works perfectly together. We love our new kitchen and couldn't be happier with the result! We highly recommend them!!

If color matching is important to you and your project, DO NOT USE CALIBER CUSTOM CABINETRY! We hired this company to reface and slightly modify our kitchen cabinets. Andrew came to my house for selection of the stain color. The first sample (a 2-3" x 4" piece of wood) that he brought was too light and I told him that I wanted to go a little darker and he seemed irritated by that. My goal was to match the wood trim that I already had on my window and sliding glass door in the kitchen. Andrew returned a couple of weeks later while we were having a wood floor installed. He was very rushed and wanted a decision from me on the spot. He brought the original sample along with a darker one for me to choose from. I chose the darker sample. I did not hear from Andrew until just before our scheduled day of installation. On the day of installation, I did not see what was being installed until the end of the first workday. As I checked the progress, I was shocked at the color of the wood being installed. The color was much darker than what I had chosen and did not match my trim at all. I contacted Andrew immediately by email to tell him that this was not the color that I had approved. Andrew met with me the following morning and really didn't have much to say. He claimed that this was the color that I had agreed to. Although he knew the topic of the meeting that morning, he did not bring, nor did he ever produce, the original samples that he had used for me to select the color. Andrew offered to recalculate things to re-do the project but the project would have to be rescheduled (leaving my kitchen torn up for weeks) and I would have to pay the total cost for replacing all the wood that was stained the wrong color. Andrew took no responsibility for any part of the error. This mistake could have easily been avoided if Andrew had a better process for color selection. Unfortunately, this did not happen and the consequences have been disastrous. This project was supposed to bring great joy to our home. Instead, seeing my kitchen, has become a daily reminder of a careless mistake made by a rushed business owner. BUYER BEWARE!

We met with over a dozen contractors and remodelers, and felt Caliber stood out in the following ways: - Excellent product: our new kitchen is not only beautiful today, but is built well to stand the test of time. We especially love the handcrafted, hard wood cabinets that Caliber built. - Excellent customer service: Nicci and Andy are great communicators. Unlike other contractors, they made sure to include both spouses in all communication, and they answered every single question we had throughout the process, and quickly responded via email or phone calls. - Thoughtful recommendations and design: upon hearing what we liked and disliked about our current kitchen, as well as our style preferences, Andy created a series of 3D drawings and helped us hone a plan. He had great ideas on what would work well and what wouldn?t, but never pressured us to go a certain route. Unlike other contractors, it didn?t feel like his goal was to sell us the maximum amount of product; rather, he wanted to make sure our kitchen design worked well for us. During our meetings, Andy would amend the 3D drawings on his laptop and could immediately show us what other options would look like. This was incredibly helpful in visualizing different options. - Great scheduling. Unlike other contractors, Andy and Nicci provided a schedule with little dead time, minimizing the amount of time we were without a kitchen, but without cutting corners. They did a great job coordinating subcontractors and making significant progress every day. - Resolving any issues the right way. With any remodel, unexpected issues are bound to come up once demo begins. We appreciated that Andy resolved all issues ? even those that created extra work for him ? without any pressure from us. After hearing horror stories from friends who had to fight tooth and nail to get problems solved, we appreciated having the opposite experience with Caliber. In short, we not only love our beautiful new kitchen, but we have nothing but good things to say about working with Caliber Cabinets. We would definitely work with them again in the future and highly recommend them.

Our experience was very good. He did an excellent job. It was $30,000 for the kitchen remodel. It's a small-owned company. It's a husband and wife and they were very personable and they came and took care of me. They were reasonable and whenever I had any issues or whatever, they came right back.

I could tell when Andy came to our home to evaluate our kitchen and provide an estimate that he clearly cared about what he did. We were on a budget, but he never made us feel like the job was too small. He listened intently and offered suggestions if asked. The job was estimated to take 3 days. Each day he and/or his employee (forgot his name) arrived and left each day timely after cleanup. They were done right on time. The work was beautiful and everything I hoped for. We loved working with Andrew and Nicci with our kitchen refacing project. This project was done several years ago and has help up quite nicely. Andrew was extremely flexible with our needs. He really listened to what we wanted to change and what we wanted to keep. He gave us some great ideas for some areas. This is why we choose him over the other companies we got estimates from --- he was so much more flexible than the others. The other company just told us what their stock options were. Andrew said if it wasn't stock, he could make what we wanted... He did just that and we absolutely love the end result. Andrew was very prompt and always left the site picked up. He was great about minimizing the disruptions of not having a kitchen and worked hard the entire time. The job was taking a little longer than Andrew expected, but he stayed late and Nicci came to help and they got it done so we could have our kitchen back without the project rolling into another week. He is very professional and uses high quality products.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Andy is very professional and easy to work with. He was always happy to answer any questions I had. My cabinets look beautiful!

I'd recommend Caliber if you can't afford to gut your entire kitchen.

Things went well and we are pleased with the work. Andy Holzen obviously loves wood and cabinet making, and has his own take on cabinet design that reflects his respect for beautiful wood. Caliber is a small company with personal attention and work by Andy, the owner. In planning the work, he was prompt and courteous, making full disclosure of costs and time frame, and offering suggestions to improve the design and function. He and his assistant arrived on time and cleaned up at the end of the day, as did his sub-contractors. The cabinet work was completed in four days. A problem with a dimmer for the ceiling lights took several tries to be resolved, but Andy continued to follow up and communicate with us until it was solved, and did not request his final payment until it was.. The cost was exactly as estimated, after two change orders that involved additional work we requested of the electrical and painting sub-contractors.We would recommend Caliber Custom Cabinets.
