Excellent service again. Would highly recommend.

Randy (the owner) was prompt in coming over to review the various items we needed corrected. His plumber was here within a day or two to perform the work, and the total bill came in at less than the estimate. The plumber also did a great job of explaining to us what he was doing and why he was doing it. We would definitely recommend them and use them again!

My experience with them was every good. They prompt and on time. The plumbers were quick, courteous and clean. They got the job done right the first time.

I was just not happy with the company. They charged for the entire time the person was here, even the time we waited for someone to call back. I did not feel they provided good customer service. In the end it was just a switch and since my water heater has worked fine.

I recently bought a house and during the inspection it was identified that the water heater needed to be replaced. I called Zachow, since I had used them in the past and Randy came out the next day to look over the project and advise on the work that would need to be completed. Looking over the requirements of the house and how much hot water was needed and advised that we would need a bigger hot water heater and would send out a crew the following day. After he left I also purchased a washer/dryer (it did not come with the house) and called immediately to see if his crew would be able to install those as well and he said it would be no problem. The crew showed up the next day with the new water heater and pulled the old one and installed everything without a hitch. I have worked with Zachow many times and they are the best, never a problem, always dependable.

Arrived promptly, determine disposal could not be repaired. Discussed pros and cons of two different disposals. Installed new disposal.

While remodeling a vacant property of mine, someone broke in and stole my copper piping leaving me to look for a plumber to perform a compete installation. I asked for estimates from several plumbers and while Zachow & Sons Plumbing did not have the lowest price, they were about two thousand less than my highest estimate. When it came down between Zachow & Sons Plumbing and another plumber, I opted for Zachow even though the original estimate did not include a water heater. They started the following day, a Wednesday, and were completed by Thursday, inspected and everything. Now that I am continuing the finish work on the bathroom, I am very impressed by their work. I had a great experience and will definitely be using them for my next project as well as recommending them to anyone who asks. The one thing that stands out is that they were not harping me for payment, neither to start the project nor upon completion. I have a very hectic work schedule and commute to Chicago from Milwaukee everyday so meeting with someone during business hours is always ideal for me. Zachow seemed to understand this and worked with my schedule for payment. After dealing with several trades in the past, Zachow is very professional and I now understand why they were rated the highest at the time of my search on Angie's List.

The shower installation went well. Unfortunately, the wrong kind of pipe was installed for the spout, even though he had everything in hand to see what kind of spout I had. I called Zachow and told them about their mistake. Someone came promptly and installed the right spout. Surprise, when 2 weeks later I received a bill of $150! I was being charged for fixing a problem that they created in the first place! I tried to get the boss to call me, but he never got back to me after numerous phone calls and messages left on his answering machine. I am very disappointed by the service. I would not refer him to anybody.

This guy seemed willing to do the job on the spot. He was willing to be very helpful with any information. I have no complaints. I would call the guy back. He seemed to be very conscientious and apologized for not having the tools.

The overall experience has been excellent. We had a situation where a company could have taken us for a little bit of money, instead they did the job quickly and affordably.

I liked all of the good comments on Angie's List. He arrived on time. He was polite and professional. He went right to work. I thought that the price was reasonable for all of the work that he did.

They came out and looked at it. We went and picked out the bath tub like they recommend. Then they came back and never returned phone calls.

This was the first time I had used his services. He did a good job and seemed to know what he was talking about. He was real professional and cleaned up after himself. He got the job done in about forty five minutes and also referred us to a man who could fix the dry wall on our ceiling.

They had come out on a Saturday and they had showed up on within an hour. They had showed up on time to do the work. They cleaned up everything when they had got done working.

He was professional and courteous. He was on time and he cleaned everything up.

Oh - it was great! I called on Monday hoping to get someone to come out by the end of the week (due to all the local flooding problems, I figured I would need to wait a bit since this wasn't an emergency). They were so helpful when I called and tried to squeeze me in right away - she called me back within 2 hours to tell me that he was on his way to my house and I could just go meet him there! He pulled up just as I did - and was finished within 45 minutes. He cleaned everything up perfectly - and I continue to be extremely pleased with the work that this company performs.

They were very punctual, clean and reasonably priced.

Superior job. As they entered my home, they took off their shoes to avoid any dirt from trafficking into the carpet without being even asked to do so. He and his staff were dressed meticulously clean and ......believe it or not....... even cleaned up after themselves without being told or asked to do so. They explained the new system in detail.

Spectacular service. I got a call from my condo association that they believed there was a leak in my building emanating from my unit. They did further investigation and confirmed that it was my water heater and that is when I made the call to Zachow and Randy took over from there. From start to finish it was probably a matter of 4 hours and there was never a question of whether Randy was going to come out that day to get the new water heater in place.

We arrived home after a week-long vacation to find our water heater leaking in the basement. It was Sunday and I called Zachow. They returned my call within an hour and said they would be out the next day. (It was a slow leak.) They arrived at 7:30 a.m. to measure to determine if a 75-gallon would fit; the water heater was delivered within hours and installed the same day. We were extremely happy with the service and the product.

The work was fine, we haven't received a bill yet but the work was ok. Just snaked out the sink.

Although my initial request for service was answered on the same day, I never heard back from them after they looked at the job. I didn't receive any quote of service or even a response to follow up messages from me requesting an update. I was ready to book the job as soon as possible but obviously customer service is not a priority with this company. Extremely disappointing considering the many reviews of good service on the List.

Excellent job, on time, clean and no issue.

They did a great job. They are very honest and real nice to work with.

Since it didn't turn out to the be the water heater, so far so good. Wonderful people, so accommodating.
