I had been home from rehabilitation for 2 days (badly broken leg) and woke up to no hot water. My sister was staying with me and checked to find a leak in the hot water tank. I quickly looked up Angie's list and chose Zachow because they were in the area and had good scores. I called them at 7:30 am and someone was at my house before 8:00am to check it out. Then they were back at 2:00pm that day to replace the water heater. Amazing service - polite, efficient. I could not be more pleased with the service.

I explained the problem I had last summer with the backup from the flooding last summer. I was given several options and recieved an accurate estimate before the work was done. The plumbers arrived on time and installed exactly what I had ordered. They again explained what they were going to do and completed the work in a timely fashion. They cleaned up after the work was done. They tested the sump pump and, finding a problem with it, quickly replaced it the next day. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

Very prompt service-original visit for estimate was followed up immediately with a call re: anticipated price and available time to schedule the service. I was very impressed.

My original request was just for the cleaning of one drain. I obtained a ballpark price quote for this. Zachow came to my house the next day. At that time, I requested that he also clean another drain. The plumber noticed that connections were leaking and asked if I also wanted him to stop the leaks (yes!). He worked for 1 and 1/2 hours, cleared the clogged drains, stopped the leaks, and left the areas very clean. When I asked how much I owed, he said that he would send a bill. This kind of worried me and I half expected some surprises on the bill. However, the bill ended up being the least amount it could have been based on the quotes I was given!

They did a very good job and I used them again to repair a leak.

He arrived on time and was very courteous and professional He worked very hard to unclog the drain but something was plugging the drain so badly that the pipe will need to be cut. He was very helpful and assured me he'd come right out the next business day to complete the job. I would not hesitate to use this company again. I felt they were very honest and fair and went above and beyond to find the best way to solve this major problem. Good people!

The kitchen sink became clogged on Christmas Day. We called the day after Christmas at 10 am. A plumber was in our kitchen by 2 pm and job was completed within 30-40 minutes. Office receptionist was friendly and courteous and the plumber was quick and professional. Impressed with the quick service on the day after a holiday. Will definitely use again.

They've been out many times. They do a very good job. They are always professional and prompt. They clean up behind themselves and check thoroughly to make sure everything is done right. They are very nice. They send me a bill.

Dan Zachow estimated the job. He was very patient with all my questions & waiting for us to get the room ready for installation. Robbie did the actual work. He was very nice. In fact, he had to stay & finish the job when my husband called & was in a car accident! I had to leave home immediately! Robbie stayed late to finish & even took care of my dog! He then returned at a later date to complete the caulking.

Not much to tell. A couple of salty types arrived with their big snake machine and proceeded to run it through my pipes, three times. Each time it probably went all the way out to the city main. Giving a good sense that the pipes were thoroughly cleared out. Watching the fellow who operated the snake was interesting. One could see the finesse required to ensure the tool moved through the pipe properly. A real skill. A good bunch to have helping me out...

Hot water heater pilot kept going out. The plumber came quickly and looked at the water heater thoroughly. He helped me gather model/sn information so that I could call the manufacturer to get more specialized service help. He did not charge for the call.

The prices were very reasonable, this was even an emergency call. He cleaned up after himself. He was very thorough and was a very nice young man. He was here within an hour.

It went really well. Our little Hercules (16 month son) played with the water pipe to the refrigerator and pulled it out. (lots of water). Called them, they had a plumber at the house in 20 minutes. He repaired it quickly, answered any of our questions, and even showed how to deal with the crisis better next time (How to get the water off a little quicker so we are little more dry.)

They took a long time to order the part that could have been purchased the same day at most hardware stores. If I had to do it again I would have bought the part myself (and saved money) the same day and had the job over much quicker. Paid $600.00 on 11-5-08 The job was ok but for the time they spent was charged way too much!! :(

Good. Drain works great. The only issue was it was really messy and the plumbing stack banged around a lot, it made me really nervous.

Their service was very good. They showed up on time. They where very polite and friendly. We read reviews off of Angie's list. They knew what they were doing and they were competent.

It was easy to get an appointment with them. I was pleased with the work that was done, and they were very professional and they were on time. I was a little mislead by their website, it claimed that they worked after hours, but found that they only worked evenings in case of emergencies.

Wonderful-I will definitely call them again for any plumbing issues.

Received an estimate and told it would not be any more than $1700. Two gentlemen arrived on time and got to work. They were very pleasant. We also wanted to have a toilet installed which was included in the estimate, but when one plastic wing nut was missing, they said there would be no guarantees and made it sound like they didn't want to do it. I believe it was more to do with the fact that it was a toilet they were less familiar with, a Caroma water efficient toilet. At any rate, it wasn't put in. I received a call they would be sending the bill to me and I inquired as to the amount and she said it was the $1695. I told her about the toilet not being put in and she said she would talk to the owner and get back to us. They removed $100.

The response time was good, the plumber did not appropriately finish the job, and we didn't feel like he insured his work. But when we called them the next day they were quick to fix the problem and we were pleased with that.

Everything was handled extremely professionally. Phone calls were returned promptly; our appointment was scheduled within less than 24 hours. Although it was estimated that it would take 2 - 2.5 hours, the work was done in 1.5. The plumber made sure to test everything extensively before he left.
