After being frustrated from misleading answers to my questions from other lenders, my realtor (from Shorewest) suggested I try WMC. Being a first time home buyer I really needed someone honest, knowledgeable and willing to thoroughly answer all my question. I worked with Herb Runnoe at my realtors suggestion and couldn't have asked for a better experience! He was very honest about where I sat financially and the steps needed to close my loan. He was very knowledgeable and was able to eliminate the frustration I experienced with other lenders giving my false information. I was also able to lock in a rate much lower than I could get anywhere else. He was able to advise me on the best options for how much to put down and how much to roll into financing so I could easily way my options and feel comfortable with the decisions I made on it. Closing was very fast and easy. I will very happily use them again for all of my future mortgaging needs.

.We were referred to them by a friend. They were very responsive with the pre approval. They were very friendly and had good customer service with whole pre approval process. The actual mortgage itself was a painful process. I don't know if that is just how mortgages are now, but it incurred a lot of our time. It involved giving information again that had already been given in the pre approval process. Not all the questions were asked at one time so we had to do multiple things. We had to get copies that we didn't know up front. Very painful and disappointing process. They did a good job on the closing, it was fast and efficient.

Wisconsin Mortgage Corporation exceeded my expectations in helping me finance the purchase of my first home. Petrita Hernandez, my consultant, was absolutely fantastic to work with, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who asked. The process was fully explained to me every step of the way, and they were very responsive to all of my questions (and I had a lot being a first time buyer). WMC did everything in their power to secure me a fantastic fixed rate loan at a below-market rate, as well as helping advise me on how to get the most out of the closing cost concessions the sellers had agreed to (the amount they agreed to wound up being more than what my closing costs were, Petrita was able to advise the pros and cons of using the additional funds to either buy down my rate or pay off my FHA insurance instead of financing it into my loan).

Though I had worked with another company before, WM lured me in with a rate and terms that were better than anyone else's. At the time they stated I could get a slightly better rate with just having my wife on the mortgage. What a mistake trusting this company was. They were unfamiliar with basic guidelines of the lending industry that made it impossible for them to close my loan. It was if it was the first time anyone over there had attempted to make a loan. No expertise. I spent a frustrating three months of do it yourself service only to be left out in the cold with NO LOAN. Plus, after waiting out their bufoonery, the rates had changed dramatically and there were no other options. The total savings of interest on this loan would have been close to $100,000 over the life of the loan, so you can imagine my frustration when Wisconsin Mortgage completely botched it. On top of it all they were very difficult to work with. They infrequently returned phone calls and emails and we're dishonest with me. In fact, they tried to collect an application fee from me AFTER my rate had expired and there was no chance that they could close my loan. I never felt I was dealing with an expert. Instead, I felt like I was ordering from a teenage waiter on their first day of work.
