Weed Man Lawn Care

Please read this carefully before this happens to you! The week of February 20th a Weed Man representative personally visited my home. He identified himself and asked if I would like a quote for my lawn service. I told him I had a service for the last 2 years and I would consider if they could be price competitive. I gave him my email address, he walked around my property and left. On February 22 I received a quote via email labeled Weed Man “Promises Kept”. I was satisfied with the quote, so I called my current lawn services and told them I no longer needed their service. I signed up with Weed Man and paid in full for the yearly service of 6 applications. On 4-13-23 they performed my first service, and everything went well. Later that day I received a phone call from a Weed Man representative. My first thought was they wanted to thank me for my business but that was far from the truth. She told me they could not service my property unless I paid them more money. As I stated earlier, I had already paid for the full year. There is only one word that can describe that business practice…Extortion. I told her I had paid for the year and expected them to honor their contract with me. She told me she needed to speak to upper management and would call me back. That call never came and the following week I attempted to log onto the Weed Man website to view my account. It gave me a message that my account was not active. I called the phone number listed on my quote and was told my account was cancelled 2 days prior. I asked to be called back by someone in management. 2 days later I did receive a call and was told it was being recorded. I was clear I was not happy with their extortion practices to get me to pay more than my written paid quote. She told me they could not service my lawn for the quoted price. She cancelled my service and told me my full amount would be refunded. I asked them again to honor their paid contract and if they wanted more money they could ask for that next year and let me decide if I wanted to keep their service at a higher price but they refused. It has now been 2 weeks and my account is still cancelled and no money has been refunded.

Got a call from a representative at Weedman. Casual talk and was obviously a salesman trying to earn some business. Goes on about the whole small business speel and wanted to sign me up for prepaying for next season. Remind you that today is December in WISCONSIN. Lawn treatment doesn't start until at least Mother's Day of this next year... Anyways. He was adamant about getting me to prepay to lock me into "2021" rates and the service fills up quickly. Like... Dude I just heard about you guys! And you want me to fork over >$300 over the phone?? I have TruGreen service and I DO NOT get these types of predatory calls. Super annoying... I will never go with Weedman EVER. I have 0 trust in this company. I hope the salespeople there are treated nicely, however, I'm afraid of how they treat customers when the salesman pestered the heck out of me today. Couldn't even get him off the phone. I Hope Weedman sees this review. They will not be getting business from me or others I casually talk to about lawns.

A salesperson rang our doorbell last night at 7 30 p.m. in the pitch dark. Really??? I don't need a salesperson coming up to my door in the dark where I can hardly make out who it is. That will stop me from ever considering using this company. Have some respect for home owners and potential customers!

The price is for the entire season. They will come back if you need them to. We have an ongoing agreement with them.

They do good work but I really don't like the their billing practices. They have aggressive sales people.

The service is not yet completed. They have been professional over the phone, but I have not been home for the services. Scheduling them out has been very easy.

It's too early to see how the work is going to work out. He is punctual and friendly. The wall looks good and the weeds are gone.

I tend to be picky and I was very satisfied with them.

Service good, telemarketing is horrible.

They do a great job. They are very courteous, and are good at following up with me to make sure I am happy with everything.

They provided a proposal and said they'd be here in June and July. They never showed up and never called. I spoke with a Tim Schwab during this proposal.

Delivered just as promised.

EVERYONE IN THE COMPANY THAT I HAVE COME INTO CONTACT WITH IS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND CARING. I HAVE MET SEVERAL OF THE TECHS AND THEY ARE COURTEOUS AND PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL. I CALLED ONCE ABOUT CONCERN WITH A FEW WEEDS I WAS SEEING AND THEY CAME OUT AT 7 AM THE NEXT DAY TO RESPRAY! THEY ARE ALWAYS HERE BEFORE YOU KNOW IT AND YOU NEVER HAVE TO CALL THEM ABOUT THE SCHEDULED APPLICATIONS. MY YARD LOOKS GREAT! WE NEED MORE COMPANIES LIKE THIS IN MILWAUKEE.
