Pella Windows and Doors

Everything went very, very well. When I went in to order the windows, they were very helpful. The installers were careful, respectful of my property, and home.

I like the product that they were selling. I liked the Pella windows and the options that they had. I'd like to eventually replace the windows on the front of the house as well.

They treated me very good. The quality of their product is amazing. The quality of the installation was good. They gave me instructions, and told me how to use the product. The clean up was good. They are very professional.

I went to their showroom and they gave an estimate. Later they rolled up a contract. A guy came by and installed my front and the back door. He did a really nice job. He also replaced the door bells as a part of the installation. He also made me buy some paint and he painted the door frame. I am real pleased with the work and I am happy with my door now. It took him at least few hours to get the job done.

I could have left in an emergency and not had to worry about them. They did a great job. They are the best. They have their own employees but they also have subcontractors like most companies do. If there were any problems they came back and addressed them. They have the best customer service. Our heating dropped dramatically because of the new windows. I would highly recommend them. They have excellent workmanship. When I first got the windows I couldn't get the window closed. they came right out and looked at the window and he said it was too tight so he loosened it. Well I noticed the next day that the window was cracked where he had been working on it. He came out and made sure the window was safe and ordered a new window and I didn't have to pay for any of it. When they say they will be here they are here. Their insulation was neat and clean. The sales people are even nice, friendly and call you back. We even got a thank you card from the sales person with a 100 dollar grocery card in there. We referred them to someone and then we received a 50 dollar gift card. They have good promotion. They are a really reliable company. They are very pleasant to deal with.

Their service was great. I was happy with the salesperson. I was happy with the people who came out to do the work. It was like everybody had a job to do. At least the first round of windows, they had about 11 or 12 of them done. They had like 6 different workers and everyone had a job to do. They worked and worked and worked; there wasn't a lot of fooling around. They were very professional. They were neat and clean. They cleaned up after themselves. If I had any questions, they were very helpful. They're a little pricey but I thought they were great. I would absolutely use them again.

Get the factory applied finish. We had 50% factory finished and 50% to do ourselves. Really consider the between the glass shades. The room darkening are fabulous. We will add more of them soon. The three-man crew finished two days ahead of schedule, and you would never have known they were there. The crew was the best.

They are very professional and prompt. They have excellent follow up for any problems that arise. They are courteous. They are very thorough with their work. The installation went excellent.

Great! They are professional and do a great job. I decided to stain the windows myself to save some extra money. The windows look great and are much easier to clean since I no longer have storms and they all tilt in for cleaning. The installers were professional and cleaned up after themselves. The finished carpentry looks great as well.

We shopped around and we heard that Marvin and Pella were the best and that's what we got, Pella. It was a comedy of horrors! The installation was terrible. The salesman didn't put in the order right, there was no record of our order being placed. He died three days after the order was supposedly in. The contact guy that had worked there 20 years, left two weeks later! The people that put them in were wonderful, but now we're experiencing some little things happen that they have had to come back out to fix.

It was unpleasant. They didn't come when they said they would come, a number of times. They had internal problems which they apologized for but it took a long time to get it done. We hired them because they had the best ratings of three. Their planning and organization was all terrible.

The salesman did a thorough job of explaining our options in ordering the replacement windows. A project manager came to remeasure and make sure the order was just what we wanted. The installers were very conscious of doing neat and tidy work even though it was a damp and wet day. They did an excellent job of matching the wood trim to the existing wood trim. The installers forgot some of the hardware but were back within a day or two to install it. They also missed filling a couple nail holes but are coming back to fill them. Overall we were very pleased with the results and the work done.

The sales rep, Burt Hesse, was very professional. After viewing the product at the store, Burt came to my home to measure and go over different options. About a week later, another person came to re-measure. The window was a perfect fit and looks great! They also custom matched the outside trim paint.

Once our order was placed, we contacted a Ver Halen representitive who scheduled an installation date with us. The windows and additional installation supplies were delivered the day before the scheduled installation as planned and stored in our garage. The morning of the scheduled installation day, the installers showed up promptly. I reviewed the work to be performed with the lead installer and felt very comfortable with his level of knowledge and experience. The install team was very mindful of keeping the interior of our home clean. It was difficult to tell they had been there. The installation was completed in 2 and 1/2 days, a little ahead of schedule and per estimate. We are very pleased with the quality of the windows, the results of the installation and the experience of working with the vendor.(our neighbors seem impressed as well)

While the vast majority of your windows are functioning properly I have a significant issue with the functioning of six interior blinds. Over six months ago, in July of 2006 I visited your office, dropped off an interior blind that did not fit appropriately in a window. After calling 10 or more times and writing certified receipt letters to the sales and general manager no one is responding to my issue.

The company and all their representatives were fantastic. The sales staff and delivery staff were flawless; however the carpenters performing the installation really shone. My husband and I had the stomach flu while they were here, and we had a almost 3 yr old and a 19 month old at the time. The boys were very interested in all the tools. The carpenters did a great job through all the distractions and minimized the mess as best they could. And their work was top-notch. We are really pleased with the windows as well.

The salesperson measured all of the windows and wrote a detailed quote. We thought the price was too high and went with another company.

Very good experience. The sales person came to my home and was very knowledgeable. The installers, a company named Triad, came on time and worked like a well oiled machine to get old windows removed (and hauled away), all new windows installed, and everything cleaned up in one day. The windows look great. I was very happy that I chose Ver Halen and plan on using them again to replace the rest of my windows.

They are a very professional organization and they stand behind their product 100%. This is actually the second Bay Window Ver Halen has installed for me. They did such a good job on the first window in 2003, I hired them again. The three carpenters that Ver Halen sent out to install my window were on time, polite and excellent craftsmen. All three of them worked their rear ends off all day to get this job completed. They didn't take a break or a Lunch. I called them for a service call after the window was installed because I notice a slight dent in the bottom piece of metal, they came out to my house within an hour and replaced that piece. I have never had service like that from ANY company, EVER! I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

Keith, the salesperson, was excellent. Never pressured. We had looked at doors for months. Although I would have liked a few more glass options, the operation went very smoothly and looks wonderful. The only complaint would be a few scratches were taken care of by a subbed refinisher and did not do a great job.

The door and windows are high quality. When they first showed up to install (on the coldest day of last winter) they discovered that the molding was made from the wrong type of wood. It took more than a month to get the right wood and when they came to install that wood, they discovered that it had been measured incorrectly. Finally on the third trip it was corrected and we are happy with the end result, but not the process.

Installation was very professional, crew cleaned up after themselves, and sales rep was available afterwards when a minor problem came up with one of the casements.

THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND VERY PUNCTUAL. THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGHER, BUT WE WERE WILLING TO PAY IT BECAUSE OF THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK. VERHALEN IS THE NAME OF THE DISTRIBUTOR FOR THE WINDOWS.

Due to a contractor screw up in the window installation(they installed casement windows where the double hangs were supposed to go the job took over 6 weeks. Once they were able to get additional parts they proceeded to complete the job. Carpentry was good.

Sales people have been prompt polite and very accommodating. I had a couple of existing pella windows in the house and was impressed by the fact that they were the only windows in our house which didnt get condensation on them in the winter even though we have some cold winters and all of our other windows have massive condensation. The only slight issue we have had is a couple of the blinds have been defective and they sent replacements out free of charge very quickly.
