Pella Windows and Doors

Description of Work: Salesman came to show product. He became pushy when we weren't agreeing to a contract quickly. They used the heat lamp sales technique....our window held out the heat as well as his sampler did. He insisted we did not have argon in our windows because they were too old (15 years). And was condescending when we insisted that they did have (we purchased the original windows). The Pella line did not have a look that would blend with our present windows and the salesman's techniques and attitude would have lost the sale anyway.

Description of Work: Replaced my dining room windows. Went smoothly. There were a couple of small problems which they pointed out to me and immediately made arrangements for them to be corrected at my convenience. It was the fourth time I've used them and have always been happy with their work and the product.

Description of Work: Replaced a very old drafty front bow window. Love our new bay and are very pleased with the window and the service and the installers.

Description of Work: We had a solid 3-pane front picture window replaced. The replacement window was replaced with another 3-pane window but the two sides now crank open. | |We also had a large picture window in the family room that was replaced with a 3-pane sliding glass door. The door also has the blinds in between the glass. | |The team that installed the window and door were great. They were punctual and finished ahead of schedule!

Description of Work: I bought 3 Pella windows in 2013. During the winter the windows developed much icing on the inside of the windows. I complained to Pella this summer and after a 3 week wait a technician checked the windows and said that I probably should get some storm windows which they do not sell. The windows also howl when open and windy. My previous windows did not do this. I also got a patio door and that works excellent.

Description of Work: Replaced sliding patio doors with energy efficient sliding patio doors - we also purchased the kind that have the blinds in between the glass. From start to finish it was a great experience working with Pella !

Description of Work: They installed a new patio door. The door is fantastic and very high quality. their installer was very experienced and took great care to explain just what they would do including looking for problems from the last installation. They did find some problems and they included those fixes when they installed their door.Sorry, cant remember the cost. they were not the cheapest and not the most expensive, but you get what you pay for!

Description of Work: I had all of the windows and patio door replaced by Pella in January 2013. |The windows and patio door are so beautiful that most of the windows do not have any type of window treatments on them. My heating bill went down, however, the We-Energy charges more to make up for what I saved. I recommend PELLA WINDOW AND DOORS to anyone who is thinking about new windows. Even though they are pricey they are well worth the investment. The crew who worked on my house was awesome, very respectful and professional. They took great care in cleaning up after themselves and were protective of our personal property as not to damage anythng.

Description of Work: They put in 5 basement windows. The first two installers came a day late due to truck breakdown and were not as professional as they should have been. Once we got the installers we had asked for on the job, it went beautifully. Ask for Will and his partner (can't remember name) They are pros! From that point on, I would give an A.

Description of Work: Pella replaced our patio doors. The frame around the door was rotted so they had to do a bigger job than expected. Sharon our sales representative was wonderful. Jim and his son did an outstanding job with installation.

Description of Work: I had received estimates and information from 2 other window companies before meeting with the Pella sales rep. He did a good job explaining their windows, providing samples and making me feel confident in their product and service. I was very pleased with their workman. They were prompt and really great with cleaning up and explaining everything. Most of all, I'm really happy with the 9 new windows I bought from them.
