They begin the job sooner than initially agreed and completed the job swiftly.

They made a mess for sure another thing I remember it took them 3 days to get the dumpster out of the driveway I had tenants that needed the driveway.

Our window project involved replacement of all but one large unit in the living room during summer of 2016. Window work was done efficiently and in a timely fashion. Once again, my wife had some problem with loss of window ledge on inside of kitchen sink window but I don’t see how this could have been avoided. Months later we had a problem with one dining room window having a problem locking and sealing completely. Over the Top promptly checked out the problem and worked on a solution that will hold us until warmer weather returns. Window now locks and seals. They inform me they will return in warmer weather for a further tweaking. All correctional work done no charge. All in all, I have been very satisfied with Over the Top’s work and any problems were relatively minor and were taken care of to my satisfaction.

Scheduling kept the roof work from being done until mid-December of 2015 but work went smoothly and quickly, involving a chimney rebuild which was done first, the roof teardown and installation with new ventting along peak of roof, new gutters and downspouts, and, finally, installation of a new front storm door. All work was done in a timely fashion Even with the December time frame, the job was complete before first snowfall. Evidently, in the installation of the kitchen vent for the microwave some debris had fallen down inside the structure causing some problem with the current microwave venting which needed to be replaced. Don't know what could have been done to prevent debris falling into microwave vent. When we pointed out that the installation of the front storm door had resulted in the destruction of our doorbell, Over the Top did return and replace it no charge. All in all, very pleased with work done.

My chimney started to leak a week before Christmas last December. I called James from over the top to come out and look at my chimney. I used James because over the top did a beautiful job when they replaced the roof on my home and garage in May of 2015. Jim told me my chimney was cracked. He gave me an estimate and shrink wrapped my chimney to protect it from the winter until it could be replaced it in spring. They came on May 4 and replaced the chimney. They did a beautiful job. I would highly recommend Over the Top Roofing

I was extremely impressed with Over the Top Roof company. They were very thorough, best value for the dollar, and extremely professional. They were able to do my roof and skylights entire job in one day when all other quotes called for 3 days. Amazing!

Jim did an excellent job of coordinating the different crews needed to complete my repairs. The rubber roof team was fast and well coordinated. The carpenters did a fairly good job and even the things that needed to be changed were finished before final payment was made. I tried to get several other contractors before I came upon this one and the others were not interested in the amount of work and detail I was requesting. Jim came in and was responsive and made sure the job was completed.

The project. Went very well. The mason was first with the removal of the crumbling chimney. It took a couple of days to rebuilt it (all by himself!). The roofing crew was fantastic. The morning of the the job, a truck delivered the dumpster. Also simultaneously, the roofing truck showed to deliver the shingles to the roof. Before that was done, the tear off crew started right in. The on-site supervisor took the time to explain the job to me. The added bonus was the installation of the solar tube skylight. This was done at no charge to me. I bought the unit and went on the roof to show them where to cut the hole. The crew cut the hole and installed the skylight and flashed it when they installed the roofing in that area. This worked out very smoothly and I was extremely pleased with the install. A couple of days after the roof job was completed, the gutter team came out to tear off the old gutters and replaced them with new ones. They too, were very professional and friendly ! After the whole job was completed, my contact / estimator, Joe Koenig stopped at the house and went up on the roof with me to inspect the job. I was extremely satisfied with the entire project and every crew that came out to do all that work ! I would definitely recommend Over the Top Roofing for another roofing job of this size !

This contractor is extremely responsive and professional. Their prices are one of the lowest of the contractors from which I received a quote. They were recommended to me by a friend who also had the same experience.

Things went great. Joe was great to work with. A very nice low key guy that was friendly, knowledgeable, and no pressure. His team arrived when he said it would, did a great job, and cleaned up so well you wouldn't even know they were there. And they did all this in one day.

GREAT JOB ! They started at 8:00 am and were finished by 5:00 pm The workers were polite, respectful and hard working.

The roofers arrived as scheduled and on time. They first took measures to insure that all of our landscaping (plants, flowers, statues) was protected from falling shingles. They then proceeded to do the tear-off on both structures at the same time. They had a a very large crew. After the tear-off was completed, the new shingles were applied. They also performed service on our chimney. While the installers were busy applying the shingles, the rest of the crew performed clean-up around the house and garage. No damage was done to any of our structures. The whole process took less than three hours and was done as promised. If I were to have the need for another roof replacement, I would definitely use Over the Top again. If any of my friends or relatives were to ask about Over the Top, I would highly recommend their service. They performed as promised. That is enough for me.

They were great and I have already recommended them to some of my friends and co-workers. On the chimney rebuild, they removed the old chimney and rebuilt with a new cap and flashing. Sam, the lead mason on the job, kept me up to speed throughout the project that day and cleaned up as he went. The quality of the work done was great and I smile every time I drive up and see the quality compared to other chimneys in my area. On the gutter work, they helped me solve the problem of ice damming on the south side of my home. I was getting large ice formations each winter coming down that side of my home. Since they have installed two downspouts on that side of the house, I have not had those ice build-ups anymore. Other contractors I spoke with suggested that we install gutter warmers but once Eric came out to look, he said that wouldn't be needed and that the downspouts would solve the problem. They also installed a downspout on my garage and reworked them so they directed water toward the alley, away from my home. The only area for improvement for them would be to be a more proactive with clients around the scheduling of their jobs. I had to call and email multiple times to find out when my job would be added to the calendar. Even when it was added to the calendar, it was reprioritized but no one called to let me know that. A call or email to let me know about the changes would have been much appreciated instead of my having to continually call/email for updates. Overall, this company is great! They do quality work at a reasonable rate. I will not hesitate to utilize them again or recommend them to my network friends and family.

Complete donkeys. After talking to a few other people that have used them, I now realize how incompetent they are.

I purchased their service from an ad they had on Angie's List. I told their project Estimator/ Manager that the reason I purchase the service was because of 2 leaky skylights. We climbed on the roof together and he caulked a couple of roof penetrations. I climbed down first. A few minutes later he came down and said the skylight flashing needed to be replaced. He sent an estimate a few days later and I approved. We rescheduled a couple of times due to weather but the crew came out and decided it was not the flashing, so they caulked the skylights. We've had some heavy rain and the skylights did not leak. They sent me an invoice for the return trip and after a few discussions with Brad, he agreed that the caulking could have been completed on the first trip and he did not charge for the return trip. I feel that this was a very honorable thing to do. Over the Top had some extra man hours into the work that they did not anticipate but Brad agreed that this could have been addressed at the original site visit. I don't use the word honorable lightly. I have dealt with contractors and construction conflict resolution since the mid 1960s and I truly feel their attitude is very professional and respectable. I would not hesitate to recommend Over the Top.

Right from the start dealing with Over The Top Roofing was a GREAT experience! Their POC John L walked me through the entire roofing process and even took the time to educate me on the structure and "do's and don't" of roofing and their products. I was given different options to work with my budget, which was a big relief. No big hard sales...just comfortable conversation on my goals and what can be provided. John L was incredibly patient as it took me a couple weeks and tons of questions until I had made my choice. The day of roofing everything went exactly as planned. A couple days prior John had put me in contact with the jobs foreman Brad J. and he confirmed the order and process and answered any last questions. Both showed prior the crew and explained everything happening as the crew replaced my roof. I was shown areas of concerns and they were fixed on the spot. The crew was also good to deal with...all were nice and respectful when dealing with me. Since they covered the ground with big tarps...their clean-up was very thorough...we never found any nails or extra debris in the grass. This also made me happy since we spend a lot of time outside and have two dogs. I will use Over The Top Roofing when it's time for my garage roof to be replaced and have recommended them to friends and family as well. I LOVE the final product as my roof looks incredible. Every time I come home I look up at it and smile...I even brag when other people are with me and have them check it out! Everybody agrees it's awesome. Over The Top Roofing and their people (especially John L and Brad J) are great and I appreciate the help and time they spent taking me through the process. Great price, great crew, great roof!

Quote was for the work we asked about and also some other potential problem areas on the roof. We decided to go with another company but I wanted to write a review to say Joe was easy to work with and I appreciate his responsiveness and detail in the quote.

We've tried very hard but we got something that we don't know why it happens and haven't been able to...for now it is no problem but it is an unidentified leak. We had several earlier rainstorms the last couple of rains haven't come in, for some strange reason we get water into our kitchen light fixture which worries many people. They've made several tries and haven't found out why or how and for the last few rains nothing has come in but I certainly was hoping it would all be settled right now. I actually paid about $700 for the work they did. I've had good talk with them, they've tried several times and there is no way of knowing whether it is going to happen or not, I certainly hope not. They were here and worked on it several times and did their best. I couldn't find anymore things to tell them and they couldn't find anymore to tell me. I'd have to give them something in the middle because it wasn't completely solved to my satisfaction but they did work hard and tried. For the work they did, I think it is a reasonable price. They had several people working several days. At the time I did, the first couple of rains that came and they worked on and actually got water into the basement but the last couple of rains we've had, the basement has stayed dry. How you get water into a light fixture is a strange thing too. So it is coming through from the attic into the kitchen sink. I could say some of it could have traveled into the light fixture and some of it had traveled on into the basement. The work that was done was actually done at the appropriate time unfortunately it didn't solve the whole problem. Their response time was very good. They were here when they said they would be.

The overall bid process went well. It's the unprofessional and inaction on the individual who was supposed to quote me in writing on the repairs for the house several weeks ago. I have called and left messages, e-mailed, and nothing has happened. I am extremely dissatisfied on how this process went. I was planning on using this company. Will now be having to contact another company and begin this process again. Extremely unprofessional!

Provider found two areas that could have caused the leak. Subsequent rains have not caused another leak.

In the end, the problem that we've had for 4 years that got progressively worse but no one could pinpoint until this year seems to be fixed. I liked their methodical approach to find the root cause of the leak which is what made me more comfortable choosing them for the repair even though they weren't necessarily the lowest price. At this point, we've had several hard rains, and I no longer have water leaking from the ceiling in the stairwell so I can surmise that their repairs worked. With that said, I still wouldn't use this company again. Joe's style is overly aggressive on the front end to land the contract and when it came time to collect money. I mean he was calling and/or emailing me everyday to the point that it began to feel harassing/bothersome. He was constantly offering to stop over and pick up the contract or pick up the check or to see if I got the information in the email. However, once I signed the contract, I didn't hear from Joe and had to reach out to him several weeks later to find out why it was taking so long to complete the work. His response was apologetic, but given that he had been so aggressive with the contract, I don't know why he wasn't proactive about telling me about scheduling issues. He had initially given me the impression that this small repair could be completed within a week or maybe two. Instead, it took a month. The day they came by, no one left written notice, rang the doorbell, called just to verify they would be there, or notified me that the crew had arrived. They also didn't send me evidence of the repair (I can't see my roof). The gutter repair to the one they damaged was good enough. I at least appreciated them confessing that their ladder hit it and damaged it when they came to test for the leak. It also meant the initial contract had an up-sell of replacing all of my gutters which made me a little suspicious about that accidental ladder hit. I opted not to replace my gutters. They would've made over double the money if I did, though.
