I called Lifetime Door as well as several others over the phone. (i.e. to get prices AND to see how quickly I could get someone out). The job itself, I have zero complaints. He was punctual or at least here within his "time window" of 2 hrs. What I do complain about is the tremendous rates that many of these contractors charge. They're a rip off in my opinion. On par with some highly educated, trained qualified professionals. $177.00 for 35 minutes with of work. Go figure. Of course, you have to figure the parts, gas, etc... Still. I suppose they very well maybe near the "market", but probably at least 30 - 40 bucks too high. The cables he put on were of a heavier gauge adding $ and he wanted to put on two springs. I said no way! That was unnecessary and would have jacked up the price to over $200.00. Absurd. Always make them tell you what you need to know ahead of time. If not go elsewhere is what I've learned from this experience. The job was ok.

We were disappointed in the experience. The door works fine now, but we had used another company, that was not as expensive and much more professional in the past.

A guy from Lifetime came out and started working on installation. After 20 minutes, he informed me he didn't have the right parts, and would have to leave. Told me someone would get back to me to reschedule. No one did. Two weeks went by, and I finally called them to reschedule. A new guy came out, installed it, and everything was fine. I understand parts issues occur, but they should have immediately rescheduled. In the end, the opener was installed properly, and the job site cleaned up well.

I ordered the door but needed to replace some trim prior to having it installed. I ordered during their sale, and they held the price till I could have the other work done. When I called, I told them the day that was most convenient. They called and came at the time they said they would. The work was done within two hours, and the following day they came back and hauled away the old wooden door. It was a very good experience overall.

Everything went very well. They were able to fit me in on pretty short notice. I bought the door on a Saturday and had it installed on Tuesday, with the old door picked up and taken away on Wednesday. Very pleasant transaction!

They came out and installed a new double steel door and garage door opener with keyless entry pad. They fixed a light in the garage that kept going out, and they took away all of the old garage door away.

They called ahead before coming, arrived on time, performed work professionally, and had the lowest price.

Lifetime Door Co. provided quick and efficient service in repairing our garage door. The worker was very professional and did a quality job. I would recommend this company.

MY DOOR HAS NEVER BEEN THIS QUIET. THE ROLLERS NOW STAY IN THE DOOR. THEY WERE ON TIME AND LEFT ME THE OLD PARTS. THEY DID A GREAT JOB.

EXCELLENT SERVICE! BROKE OUR ORIGINAL GARAGE DOOR TUESDAY EVENING AND FELT THAT IT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY. STARTED CALLING COMPANIES WEDNESDAY MORNING AT 7:30AM. LIFETIME DOOR WAS ABOUT THE FIFTH COMPANY I CALLED AND THE ONLY ONE THAT WAS ABLE TO FIT ME IN THAT SAME DAY. DOOR AND OPENER WERE IN BY NOON THAT SAME DAY AND I FELT THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT, THE WORK WAS EXCELLENT, THE PRICE WAS EXCELLENT AND THE PRODUCTS (DOOR AND OPENER) ARE HIGH QUALITY. THE OLD DOOR AND OPENER WERE GONE FROM THE FRONT YARD THE NEXT DAY. NICE WORK SETH!

WORKER WAS ON TIME, BUT DID NOT GIVE ME THE REBATE COUPON I HAD BEEN PROMISED OVER THE PHONE. I DROVE OVER THERE LATER IN THE DAY AND GOT IT WITH NO HASSLE.

THE WORK AND PRICE WAS FINE, BUT I GAVE THEM AN F FOR PUNCTUALITY, BECAUSE THEY FAILED TO SHOW UP ON THE DAY THAT THEY HAD PROMISED AND THEY DID NOT CALL TO INFORM ME.

THE INSTALLERS WERE PROMPT AND DID A NICE, EFFICIENT JOB. HOWEVER, THERE WAS A LARGE, UNSIGHTLY PILE OF DEBRIS (OLD DOOR, OLD TRACKS AND PACKAGING MATERIAL) LEFT BEHIND. SALESPERSON ORIGINALLY SAID IT WOULD BE PICKED UP IN 1-2 DAYS (INCLUDED IN PRICE). IT WAS NOT. AFTER REPEATED PHONE CALLS, THE DEBRIS WAS FINALLY REMOVED SIX DAYS LATER. THEY HAVE TO GET THAT PART OF THE ACT TOGETHER TO EARN A HIGHER GRADE.

THE WORKMANSHIP OF THE CARPENTER WAS EXCELLENT AND HE WAS A FAST WORKER, BUT GETTING THE COMPANY TO STICK TO THE PROMISED SCHEDULE AND GET THE JOB STARTED AND FINISHED WERE A NIGHTMARE. THEY PROMISED DATES AND NEVER KEPT THEM. THEY NEVER RETURNED PHONE CALLS. WHEN I DELAYED MY FINAL PAYMENT MORE THAN THE 10 DAYS THEY ASKED FOR TO GIVE THEM A TASTE OF THEIR OWN MEDICINE THEY SENT ME A PROMPT NOTICE OF LEGAL ACTION! THEIR PRICE WAS LESS, BUT I WOULD OF GLADLY PAID MORE FOR PROMPTNESS AND LESS HEADACHES! YOU MUST KEEP ON THEM AND ASK FOR REFERENCES!

THIS COMPANY IS OUT TO DO QUALITY WORK AT VERY COMPETITIVE AND REASONABLE PRICES. A FRIEND HAD HIS GARAGE DOOR INSTALLED BY THEM SO I USED HIS RECOMMENDATION. EXCELLENT COMPANY. I''M VERY HAPPY.
