+ -1 moreHe scalped my yard in so many places and missed so many other areas. When I pointed out the areas he missed he told me I had to pay for double cut if I want it all cut the same length!! I fear my 1/2 acre of perfect weed free one year old sod is completely ruined By far the worse I have ever seen in my life. The $45 cut job has probably just cost me thousands of dollars in new sod and labor. Terrible, terrible, terrible.
Description of Work: Interviewed him for a price quote and he told me I should hire him because he is quality. I paid him for one service to try his service out

He arrived in good time and cleared our driveway. Great service and work. Will use him again and plan to talk to him about lawn service this spring. In all a great experience.

+ -1 moreI called Joel in the morning, and he not only got back to me that afternoon, but he came out as well. I had told him my boxwoods needed trimming, so he brought his trimmer with him, and when I heard the price, I told him to go ahead. He did a fantastic job! The bushes are about 30 years old and have been trimmed every year, but they never looked as beautiful as when Joel did the job. They weren't just trimmed, they were scupted! For as long as he does this work, as far as I'm concerned, he's got this job permanently!

+ -1 moreI spoke to Joel a couple of times before we could finally meet, he does this on his own so he's pretty busy. He came out in the evening, gave me a quote and did the job...fast! He even cleaned up the trimmings and grass. I'll have him back in a few weeks to mow again and in the spring I'll have him remove a bush for me and get added to his mowing schedule.

He offered to meet up with me, but when I wasn't available he offered to take a look at our property and call me with an estimate (great customer service). He also checked with me before entering our property, very polite.I was pleased by hisprofessionalism and promptness. Unfortunately he was about 10% higher than 2 of the other quotations that we got so we went with another company.
