Description of Work: Very professional sales staff and Installation group. Had a new Air conditioner and Furnace installed.

Description of Work: A/C on 7 year old unit stopped working. Gave them a call and they were very prompt and courteous. Determined that coil was leaking and needed to be replaced. They stand behind their products and I was told that unit was totally covered under their 10 year parts and labor warranty. Would have cost me hundreds of dollars if I had called somebody else. Nobody offers better service and warranty coverage.

Description of Work: Installed a Mitsubishi ductless, multi-zone A/C in our 2-story, 110 y.o. home. Everything about our experience with Gross Heating & A/C, from the initial cost-estimate/bid through the completion of the install was simply exceptional. Over the past 20+ years we have owned 5 homes in SE WI, and have had a wide range of experiences with various contractors/services. Gross Heating & A/C is now at the top of our list in each of the categories that are rated here on Angie's List. If we could rate an A+, we would. They are true HVAC professionals that take pride in their workmanship and ensure that the customer is informed and satisfied with it. Renovating an old house always has challenges and surprises, and Gross recognized and communicated them to us during the initial walk-through to develop their bid/cost estimate, and quickly separated themselves from 2 other contractors/bidders. The bids we received from each of the contractors were competitive, but Gross won us over with their additional attention to detail. Subsequently, the installation process went as planned and there were no unforeseen complications or costs. The installation crew was very professional (even enthusiastic) and communicated well with us to make sure that we understood the install process and the a/c system operation and maintenance. They also cleaned up the work areas really well, and we didn't have to do any additional clean up after them. After the installation was complete, Gross followed up to find out if we had any questions or concerns, and assured us that us that they had submitted our product warranty information to Mitsubishi. Also, during the permit closure inspection that we did with the City inspector, the inspector noted examples of quality workmanship associated with the installation that he likes to see, and stated that the installation was done well. The bottom line is that we completely trust their work and can't give a better recommendation.

Description of Work: My burners would not stay lit. The tech new what to do right away. He removed the flame sensor and cleaned it. He also did a pressure test and quieted down a rattling exhaust fan. Finally he did a quick cleanning, gave me some advice and was on his way.

Description of Work: We had our air conditioner stop working. The serviceman called ahead. It gave me time to drive home to meet him. I had done some brief troubleshooting and explained it to him. He found the problem very quickly and replaced the parts to get the unit running again.

Description of Work: They installed two new furnaces in my duplex. I would use them again and recommend them. My only complaint was I wanted them to not destroy one furnace so I could use it the garage of my other property, but it was not undamaged when they took it out. As it turns out I would not have used it anyway so in the end that point didn't matter. I'd say they are a good company.
