A/C blower began making a terrible noise. Called Gross Heating & Air Conditioning due to there reviews on here. Doug came out the next day. He told me the blower was old and wearing out and unrepairable. He offered the pros and cons of replacing the blower only, blower and motor, and entire system (it is a 25 year old system). He was objective and did not push me to spend money or do more than I needed to. I temporarily repaired the blower until the new blower and motor were available then returned and replaced them. He was quick yet thorough, courteous, and worked around my schedule. I used the A/C for about a month after the repair. Then when winter came I turned the heat on. Everything was fine for about a month then the blower began making noise again. I called at 7:30 AM and Doug was at my house by 8:30. The bearings in the new motor were defective. He replaced the Armstrong motor (original manufacturer) with a Carrier universal motor which he said he often uses and highly recommends, plus he had it on the truck already. The whole job was finished and the house warm in an hour and half, and I paid nothing. I anticipate my entire HVAC system will need replacing at some point as it is original to the house. I plan on using Gross Heating & Air Conditioning for that and all my other HVAC needs.

Job was professionally done. All items provided as quoted. All work performed to high quality. Very polite and cleanup after job was great.

Called Gross HVAC based on Angie's List Reviews...exceeded my expectations! Ken arrived on time, was cheerful and friendly. Quickly diagnosed our fault code and performed a complete tune up. Provided advice on future maintenance and trouble spots with our furnace. Will definitely use Gross in the future!

Considering the age of my furnace it went well. I had originally scheduled just the inspection and cleaning, but Doug, the technician, found that the pilot burner ($123.00) and collector box ($78.00) were bad and needed to be replaced. Doug also inspected the heating ductwork in my basement, which the previous owner had made some less-than-professional modifications to. Two ducts had been tapped into the main supply duct in order to supply heat/air to the semi-finished basement. I had Doug remove these and temporarily seal them until more permanent repairs can be made. I'm now getting better airflow upstairs. We discussed the age of my furnace and its probable life expectancy. Doug was very pleasant and very informative.

He cleaned/tuned up both the air conditioner and furnace, fixed the wiring on our air conditioner, and added two parts to our furnace. I think this company was a good value. They told me the things I needed, so that my furnance wouldn't give out in the middle of winter and also fixed my air conditioner. The person doing the work was very professional, clean, and helpful in answering questions..

They did a excellent job. Arrived on time and worked none stop all day. Cleaned up everything wouldn't even know they we there.

Very well. Ramen is a very pleasant person and knowledgeable about Gross's Carrier products. He worked efficiently and professionally.As we'd expected, he suggested we might want to consider a new furnace as ours is 19 years old and just one year short of the predicted life span. He recommended a much more energy efficient model and told us that stimulus money is still available through December, as well as rebates from Carrier and WE Energies. He suggested that Gross could compensate us for the cost of the servicing were we to purchase a new furnace. He will have Gross call us about that with a cost etimate.

It went very well from beginning to end. I couldn?t be happier. I really like my new Carrier heating and air conditioning unit.

The estimate was thorough and detailed. Estimator spent a lot of time and was careful to explain everything. He answered all questions thoroughly. On the day installation began the two techs arrived at the appointed time and went about the job. They are highly trained, capable and friendly. This was a two day job. Clean up was good and the new boiler is located in a slightly different area which improves our traffic flow and storage area. This was a good experience. Although no one wants to spend a lot of money the existing rebates at State of Wisconsin and Federal levels will reduce the cost by about 22%.

Everything went exactly as planned. Everyone was on time, very professional and friendly. I was extremely pleased with the whole experience. Salesman Jeff was great and answered all my questions. All of the techs were knowledgeable and it made spending $6650.00 as enjoyable as possible considering I would of rather spent the money to go snorkeling on St John's. I would and will use them in the future and tell all of my neighbors and friends. Thank you guys.

Renter notified us on Sunday that something was wrong with the air conditioner. We called on Monday and got same day service. They took care of what was wrong and I am impressed with this companies honesty and integrity, in not trying to sell us something else.

Our basement flooded. The air conditioning wasn't working. They were quick to respond as both my husband and I have health problems and needed the air. It was our furnace. They were able to schedule a date within the week, even though they had numberous other calls. They suggested a furnace that fit ours needs without trying to sell us something bigger. Very satisfied.

The technician was very thorough in explaining how my furnace and AC worked. Luckily, I did not have any flood damage so I only paid for the service call. He was very professional and answered all my questions.

I called around to a few different heating/ac companies in the area, and Gross Heating and AC, Inc. were the most flexible on cost and timing, given my requirements. I was looking only for a new AC unit, and was looking quickly, since my wife was 8 1/2 months pregnant and the temperature outside was consistantly in the mid 80's. They were the only company that offered to provide some additional freon by service call while waiting for the install crew to come by with the new unit. Marc showed up when he said he was going to, and did his work without any notice. He, and the electrician, were very clean, professional and curtious workers that made sure I was not burdened by them being there. I recommend Gross Heating & AC for any related work.

Told me my options when they came to give me a free estimate. They were prompt, helped explain the rebates and tax credit. Their quality of work was excellant. The people that worked on the job were very good at what they do. In one day they took out my old furnace and A/C unit and installed the new units. They did an excellant job of cleaning up and took all the old stuff away. I would definitely recommend.

Everything was excellent and it turned out wonderfull. They were prompt, professional, and courteous. The person who came out with estimate really knew his stuff. Something went wrong with the system after the install, and they came out and fixed it for me. I was very satisfied.

This is the second time we have used them. A fully professional experience from start to finish. Dennis was the man sent out on both of our jobs and he is so very thorough and happy to share information. He found a warranty covered repair that was needed - an otherwise $900 part - and took care of arranging the part ordering and will be coming back to install. A+ work all around.

They were professional all the way. I had routine maintenance done for my furnace last November by another company. We were told that the heat exchanger crossbars were rusting which could lead to problems. They showed us pictures as proof. We were concerned since the furnace was old. We had that company's sales man come out to explain our options. He was very professional but we decided to get a second opinion, and called Gross Heating. Our salesman Jeff Yaeger also assured us this wasn't an emergency and explained our options for furnaces and central air. I decided against the high efficiency furnace and choose another very good Carrier product. Jeff was good enough to call a second time and discuss our situation. In the end, we went with Gross Heating. We liked their professional manner and the reviews from Angie's list were very helpful. I was able to split having the furnace done in February and the air conditioning later in spring. They gave me a fair quote and did not charge me anything extra to split up the job. All in all, they were prompt, efficient and professional. I'm happy with their recommendations for heating and cooling my older home.

Excellent work. Several men came to remove the old units and the new units were installed in 1/2 day. They were very professional and quick with the work performed. Very happy with the way both units work.

They came out right away as it turned out we still had a waranty on our old furnaces and it was credited on the new ones the price was right

After having several companies come out to give us a presentation and quote on both the furnace alone and with the air conditioner, we decided on Gross heating. We wanted the best product for the best price. Jeff gave a great presentation and didn't pressure us in going with his company. The coils on the air conditioner were checked and found to be in great shape, so we didn't need to replace it. Technicians Mike and Craig were fantastic. They arrived on time and were very professional. We have a finished basement and were concerned about how they would work around the ceiling tiles. They did a great job and didn't damage any of the tiles. They removed the old furnace and did a great job cleaning up after themselves when the work was completed. If there was any time for the funace to go, this was it since we qualify for the state and federal rebates as well as an off season discount which helped to bring our final cost way down. Yippee!!! We also got an Angie's list member discount. We would recommend Gross Heating to our friends, family, and neighbors.

I like them! I haven't had any complaints. I like their work. This is the second year that I've had them.

The crew arrived on time and finished when they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves. All were polite and professional. Before they left, they explained in detail the workings of our new heating system to us.
