+ -1 moreThis company, along with their installers, were outstanding. We had problems with several windows shortly after they were installed (no fault of the installers), and, within a week, the replacement parts were here, and replaced. I would reccomend this company to anyone.

We carefully researched window installers, and interviewed 3 companies, using Angie's reports as a basis for selection. Rob Kuehl's knowledge, honesty, forthrightness, responsiveness, and service orientation quickly set his business apart. A homeowner needs to make a decision on both the product and installation services, and All About Windows and Siding performed exceptionally in both areas. Through each step in the process, he provided the information we needed to make the very best investment decision in our home, as we are improving our home with intentions of selling in the next couple of years. The installation team left a very clean 'home interior', and were great representatives of this company. Rob Kuehl and his company are simple the best there is, and we are thankful for the experience in doing business with him.
Description of Work: Exceptional experience! Rob's team removed our 24 year old leaking, wood casement windows with 17 double hung Preservation Premium windows, and nicely matched existing jambs while conserving sill stock. The work included removing all mulls, with twin windows factory mulled together for superior performance. Did outstanding job of replacing significant areas of decayed wood surfaces. In addition, the team installed 4 storm doors on the home's northen exposure with Gerkin doors, and finished the job with installation of shutters on the southern exposure. Our home is now cozy, warm, and the windows are performing just as we expected, with no perceptible or visible drafts, no condensation or frosting, despite the very chilly cold January temperatures. Jerry did most of the 'inside' work', and was highly personable and attentive to detail. The Preservation window has a superb screen than comparably priced products, and comes standard with full-screen size without additional upcharges from the competitors.

+ 1 moreMy kitchen was an eye-sore and embarrassment. I received 3 estimates at the home show in February. Rob's estimate for brand new cabinets was only $2000 more than the contractor who only offered re-facing. The project was a complete success. I have beautiful maple cabinets. Rob was in constant communication with me during the entire project and when I had a concern about the paint job, he sent the someone back the next day to repaint. This is a very ethical, knowledgeable & reliable contractor and I am a completely satisfied customer!

+ -1 moreVery well. They were professional, showed up on time, did a great job and cleaned up after they were completed.
Description of Work: The overhang on the back of the house was drooping and the gutter was coming off. The pros at All About Windows came out, removed the gutter and found that the sofit box was attached improperly (with nails instead of screws). They repositioned the overhang and attached with 9 in screws, installed weather shield (also missing from construction) and re-attached the gutter and pitched properly. They completed the entire job in less than one full day.

The salesmen seemed very pleasant but was somewhat slow in getting back with us. We chose to work with another company.

+ -1 moreRob (owner) & Greg (sales manager) are very knowledgeable. They helped us determine our needs & gave us all of the options. We decided to get the best windows they offered for energy savings. We had some difficulties during installation because our job was only supposed to take one day & needed more, & they had scheduled a job that lasted over a week after ours. We ended up having the windows installed but needed them to come back another day several weeks later to finish the trim work. We would have preferred having everything completed all at once. Overall, we are very happy with the windows & would use them again.
Description of Work: They replaced four wood double hung casements & 1 single hung casement window on the 2nd story of the house with more energy efficient same style in vinyl.

+ 0 moreGREG CAME WITHIN A FEW DAYS & GAVE A VERY DETAILED WRITTEN QUOTE. WE RECEIVED 3 OTHER QUOTES. ROB'S WAS NOT THE CHEAPEST, BUT MIDDLE OF THE LINE. THE CARPENTER/INSTALLER ARRIVED ON TIME AS SCHEDULED & FINISHED IN 1 DAY. CLEANED UP VERY WELL & WE WERE VERY PLEASED. THE NEXT WEEK WE DID HAVE A LOT OF RAIN & MY PATIO DOOR STARTED LEAKING. I CALLED THE OFFICE & WITHIN A FEW HOURS THE CARPENTER CALLED ME, & SCHEDULED A TIME TO COME & FIX THE PROBLEM (TURNS OUT SOME OF THE CAULKING APPLIED DID NOT STICK TO THE ALUMINUM TRIM & RAIN GOT IN THAT WAY & RAN ONTO MY KITCHEN FLOOR). I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THEIR PROMPTNESS TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM THAT I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THEM. THAT'S THE REASON WE DECIDED TO GO WITH ROB'S; PERFECT BBB RATING & NEVER A SERVICE FEE TO FIX PROBLEMS, EVEN YEARS DOWN THE ROAD.
