They were amazing. This is the busy time, but worked to creatively find ways to help us. My son's beloved hamster died in the vent. The smell was horrible. I had numerous conversations with the owner, who went out of his way to help us since they had no openings for 3 weeks. However, he felt confident that someone would cancel and they could fit us in. Indeed, in 3 business days they were here taking care of everything. The two men who arrived were professional, respectful and very sensitive to the unique situation. My children were present, but unaware that it was the hamster that was causing the smell. The men understood this and were soooo kind to my kids. They did the job without complaint and only charged us an extra $10 for sanitizing. I couldn't have been more pleased. The owner even called the men several times wanting to know if they had been successful in retrieving the body. I highly recommend this company.

Mark and Justin arrived on time, explained what they were going to do after I showed them around the house and basement. They set up their equipment, were professional, personable and courteous. Mark estimated the time from start to finish quite accurately. I had to point out a mess in the basement which wasn't there when they started, and it turned out to have fallen from the top of the duct work. In the end, they cleaned up satisfactorily. My only complaint was that they filled up my garbage can with the debris from their shop vac - even before they started using it on my home. I pointed it out to Mark who offered to remove it, though I declined since it was not in its own bag. Overall, I was very pleased with the results and now enjoy a much cleaner home.

Overall, they did a good job. They use a portable vacuum with a wider mouth, which is suppose to clean better than the smaller hoses running from a van or truck. They did miss one vent and forgot to put the screws back into a few other vents. I would use them again.

Great job! They arrived on time and got right to work. My new home had a very strong cat odor in the basement (litter box location for many years) and I correctly assumed there was a lot of cat hair in the duct work. They used additional sanitizer and took extra care to make sure all cat hair was removed. I was amazed (still am) that the odor is almost gone in the basement; was not expecting that to happen. They cleaned up completely after they were done. I could not be happier or more satisfied; highly recommend! Received Angie's List discount as well.

Appointment was set for 12:45 - 1:45 pm. Two workers arrived at 12:50. They introduced themselves. They did the duct cleaning in an efficient and businesslike manner cleaning up around the ducts where they had worked. I asked if I should move anything - they said no and proceeded to move anything that needed to be moved. They were very polite, pleasant young men dressed in clean work clothes. They shook my hand when they left and provided me with a telephone number to call if I had any questions. When leaving the final part of the job, the lower unit, they turned off the lights , closed the doors and left everything in excellent shape. They were very competent and personable.

They were top notch. The electric filters were not efficient, so they helped me find some that would work better for me. They showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, and did a great job.

Very well. They were easy to contact. No problem scheduling. They gave a discount of $75 for Angie's List members. The workers were prompt, polite, made recommendations for other items that should be cleaned and how often. I noticed an immediate difference in my house.

Awesome job! Don Dorff, the owner, is the best. His father is a physician & that quality has been passed down to his son. I will always use them to clean my ducts.

The workers were late because they got lost, but didn't call us. I had to call the owner, who tracked the workers down and apologized for the fact that they workers did not call. Once they arrived, the two men were fast and efficient. They explained what they were doing throughout the process and showed us the dirt gathered at the end. The men were very polite. The entire process took about 3 1/2 hours. I would recommend them for duct cleaning and would have them back in the future to clean the ducts again. They recommended, before they left, that the ducts be cleaned again in 5 years.

Excellent! The two guys who came out were courteous, worked with no supervision and were very patient with all my questions and concerns. The work took approximately four hours for a two story duplex. After they were done, the air coming from the registers was neutral smelling and vents looked visibly cleaner. They recommended changing out each furnace's filter, and good thing I did, as the last of the dust/hair was attached to the filter. The person I talked to at the office when I first called was super nice and also pointed me to the Safety information about the mold inhibitor they mist into the vents at the end of the cleaning. I have already recommended them to friends and will call them again in five years for the next cleaning; they are very good. They give an Angie's List discount, making it affordable.

I had always been skeptical about the virtues of "duct cleaning" but recently I converted when my wife and I started "wheezing and sneezing" without reason. I called AIR QUALITY CONTROLLERS LLC and Don spent over a half hour explaining what needed to be done. His comments were easy to understand and his price estimate seemed fair and concise. The workers were friendly and polite and very efficient. We are breathing easier these days and our house smells good again.

They were right on time and pleasant to work with. They broke a large mirror in the basement on accident and discounted the replacement price. Very nice and reasonable.

From beginning to end this was a very friendly and professional experience. Originally called to inquire about services the Saturday before Labor Day, and the owner spoke at length with me explaining how the service worked, the costs involved, and how they differed from the competition. Services were agreed upon and a date set up. On that date, Mark & Justen showed up on-the-dot sharp when I expected them. They were very professional, polite, and friendly. They were in the house alone for 3/4 of the day. When I came back at their call, they answered all my questions before I could even ask, and informed me on what they found. I asked to see their filters in the truck--DISGUSTING! Proof if ever there was that this service was needed. They even replaced the dryer duct with a less flammable piping at no charge. AQC cleans the entire duct with brushes AND disinfects afterwards. Know what you are paying for when you call the competition!

Mark and Mike were wonderful. They were very clean, and prompt. We have noticed a difference in our air quality since the cleaning. We would highly recommend Air Quality Controllers.

Mark and John did an excellent job and worked professionally. They arrived on time, moved their equipment into the house carefully, spoke courteously, and explained what they were going to do. The job took a bit more than two hours to complete. They gave us good information about the ducts, including a partially closed duct about which we had not been aware. They cleaned up after themselves, and were careful when removing their equipment. When we mentioned difficulty in getting a new filter for our furnace, they measured the filter box and promised someone from the company would call the next day with recommendations. When Don called the next day from the company office, we discussed his recommendation, and he agreed that we should pursue an option other than what his company could supply. At every point, AQC was professional and courteous. We would definitely recommend them to anyone else. Their price was the same as was quoted by three other companies ($279 plus tax).

The experience was wonderful! Don came by the day I called to look over our system and determine time and pricing. He was very knowledgeable and explained to me the detail of what was to be done, and gave us what I believed to be a very good price. The work was performed a week or so later by Evan and Justin. They spent a day at the house and were very prompt. They answered all my questions. They made a point out of being clean - the duct cleaning was fairly clean, and then they vacuumed the area afterwards to get everything up. The air feels cleaner already!

They were prompt, professional and explained exactly what they were doing and why. They also gave a great recap on what they found and removed. We noticed an immediate difference with the overall odor in the home - no more smelling like an old ashtray and dirty pet store.

Both workers were very polite and professional. They showed up on time and explained all that they were doing and were very neat. They discovered the furnace blower fan had not been cleaned in a very long time, if ever (disgusting), and cleaned it, in fact, I am going to be using Air Quality to clean my furnace from now on! Everything was cleaned up and left as they had found it! I would definitely use them again.

Wow. I mean, WOW were my ducts dirty. I assume my 85 year old house's ducts had never been cleaned. They showed me the volume of junk in my ducts it was about a garbage bag full. I feel stupid for not having this done years ago. $287 for a flat fee seems to be their fee for a 1,500 to 2,500 square foot house, so you probably will get the same rate. Mark and Justin showed up promptly, were very polite, worked efficiently, pried off all my vent covers, which had 20 coats of paint, and did a nice job. It took about 3 hours total. The machinery (vacuum) is relatively loud, though, so don't plan on taking a nap while they work.

I never actually met with anyone from the company, but my father in law (a Shorewest Realtor for 20 years) did as well as our contractor. They said Air Quality Controllers were efficient, clean and friendly. When I first called, they asked where I found out about them. When I said Angie's List, they immediately offered their Angie's List discount. I was not even aware and did not have to look for a coupon.

They explained everything well and were very good. I would recommend them. They were very polite.

Efficient, timely with request. I called in the morning and they were there within 3 hours to do an estimate and performed the job within 6 days as my timeline was short. Took time during consult and after to educate me on my system in my home. Identified detailed problems and provided me with new filters and set up maintenance list. GREAT WORK!

THOROUGH, WERE ON TIME, 2 GUYS SEEMED VERY EXPERIENCED, TOOK THEM ABOUT 3 HOURS FOR THE ENTIRE JOB. PAID AS EXACTLY QUOTED ON ESTIMATE & I FELT THAT THEY GAVE US A GOOD PRICE AND CLEANED UP.
