 + 0 moreReceived quote via phone. John and Kyle came to our house perfectly on time and even called me to confirm they were heading our way. The price was exactly as quoted over the phone and the guys couldn't have been nicer to us and our young, curious kids! We added the U/V light, sanitizer and dryer vent cleaning by our own choosing and didn't feel any pressure to do so. They explained things but didn't pressure us into doing anything which was very nice. We paid a bit ($677) but feel it was worth it. We have already recommended Air Quality to our neighbors (who noticed the sign in our yard) and will recommend them to others.

 + -1 moreJohn, Kyle and JP did a great job. They were friendly and got to work right away. Despite extra services we chose that day, they finished within the time I was told it would take. Great crew. I would recommend them. They even offered to carry a box out of the house for me!
Description of Work: We had the ducts, the blower and furnace box, a/c coil, and condenser cleaned. We opted for treating all the air passages with a sanitizer and had them furnish and install filters. An April Aire filter was replaced.

 + -1 moreThe three technicians who came to my house were punctual, professional, and amiable. They took care with removing vent covers and with moving the furniture around the vents. A trainee accompanied two more senior technicians, and they all seemend to be excessively thorough with my job because of it. All seemed to have a strong personal work ethic and seemed remarkably well educated in their field. They worked for about 2 1/2 hours, all the while explaining processes and answering my questions.

 + -1 moreExcellent service in quotation with Don. Had to reschedule 2 times due to sickness (1 with his crew, and 1 with us). Cleaning went well, unfortunately the technician nicked the air conditioning coil when installing the UV light. Received an immediate phone call from Don to say that they would replace at their cost, thus eliminating any worry on our part.

 + -1 moreAll the reports about them on Angie?s List were good, so we chose them. They were very professional. One would imagine that the house would be dirty with them vacuuming out the vents and ductwork. However, they did a fabulous job. We can?t even tell that they were here.
Description of Work: We used Air Quality Controllers. They vacuumed and cleaned out all the ductwork for the air conditioning and heating unit 1 year ago.

Description of Work: Wonderful experience from start to finish. After checking Angie's list and getting estimates from three companies, I decided to go with Air Quality Controllers because they charge a flat rate regardless of the number of vents to be cleaned in the home and because of their high ratings on Angie's list. (In my case, this saved me money compared to other companies who charge a flat rate up to a certain number of vents, then $10/vent for anything additional.) From the time they arrived shortly after 1:00 p.m. this afternoon until they departed shortly before after 6:00 p.m. they worked hard and non-stop. They were polite, friendly and very competent. They cleaned the vents, installed a UV light that will continuously kill bacteria/germs in the system, explained how it works to me. They also suggested I get the dryer vent cleaned as long as they were there. Am I glad I did. It was filthy. I can't say enough about how professional and competent this crew is. They were very meticulous in their work, paid attention to detail, and were eager to answer my questions about the process as they were doing the work. They cleaned up every spec of debris that fell from the ceiling vents, etc. I would definitely recommend them again. Just super friendly guys who get the job done and have great attitudes. Thank you Air Quality Controllers.

 + 0 moreWith a newborn on the way, we've been in major cleaning mode. Contracted with Air Quality Controllers for the cleaning and they did a fantastic job. Their quote was accurate, the work was exactly what they had promised and they were punctual. We did have a minor issue with the clean-up, but one call to the owner and he came out personally to make sure we were satisfied. He even went above and beyond and sealed off two spots on our furnace that had leaks. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone looking to do any kind of duct cleaning.

 + -1 moreThe company was very responsive, answering the phone with a person rather than a machine quickly, providing information quickly and arrived promptly for the appointment. The worker was courteous and explained everything that would be done. I had to ask for help putting some of the furniture back, but they responded promptly. I was asked if I would like to do the Enviro-con spray and was told it would kill dust mites, bacteria, mold etc. I asked for a spec sheet and research to prove what it did. He did not have any available but gave me a web site to investigate. I went ahead with the spraying because I am allergic to dust mites however the web site did not mention any effect on dust mites. I called the manufacturer and they confirmed that dust mites are not treated with this product. I called Air Quality Controllers and the owner, (Joe) also confirmed that dust mites are not killed. He was very apologetic. He followed up with the worker that did our job and made sure he had the correct information. He funded the $35.00 + tax that we spent on the spraying promptly by the method of my choice and also sent a $25.00 gift card for gas with the receipt for the credit on my credit card. Total spent after refund was $299.00 for ranch home.
Description of Work: Air ducts were cleaned. Before and after photos were taken. Enviro-con sanitizer sprayed in ducts.

 + -1 moreI am very satisfied with the work. The two men were very efficient, with one in the basement and one in the main level. They were very good about being careful when they brought in their equiment and cleaned up both on the main level and in the basement. When they were finished, they showed me the filtration system they used and there was enough dog hair in it to make about 4 dogs. It was almost embarrassing, but now I know why I had so much dust in my house. I was dusting the wood furniture about twice a week. Since they cleaned it, I have only dusted once in about ten days.
Description of Work: The first appointment I set up didn't work out. The crew was at a work site before my appointment and called to tell me they would be considerably late because they had run into some problems. So I set up another appointment for the next week and they arrived a little early and got right to work. Two men came and cleaned the air ducts in the basement of my 50 year old ranch. As part of the work they cleaned all of the air returns and the heating vents. They also checked my furnace to be sure it was clean. They were very polite and stayed on task. They finished in about 3 hours.

 + -1 moreInitially I was unhappy, but after the problems were corrected, I thought they did a great job.
Description of Work: Two employees came over on 12/29 to perform duct cleaning including sanitization. When I arrived home after the cleaning had been done I noticed debris on my furniture and doors. I initially thought the process was going to take 3-4 hours, but my husband told me they were there for only 2 hours. I called and spoke to Don who immediately came to our home to address my concerns. He had 2 employees come the next day (on a Saturday)to redo the work and to also do an additional soot cleaning at no charge. After this was done, I was very happy with the outcome and the work performed. There was no debris left behind and the air is much cleaner in our home. I would definitely use this company again. They are very responsive.

They came out to give us an estimate and when the staff came to do the cleaning they were professional and friendly and did a great job.

Joe didn't hesitate for a minute. He set another appointment at my convenience to redo the cleaning of the air ducts. He did not charge me anything for the additional cleaning.

 + -1 moreOverall it went great. Joe came out the week prior and assessed my condo to make sure they could do it and came back with a date when the crew could come out. The crew called about 10 minutes before they were going to arrive (in the time window of when Joe had said they would be there) and they quickly went into gear and got everything setup and working.
Description of Work: They cleaned the air ducts of my condo heating/cooling system. The team came in and was very careful with their equipment. The crew was very personable, explained everything that they were doing and cleaned my system in about 2 hours....Very easy, completely painless and did not create any kind of mess at all.

 + 0 moreDon gave me a call about a half hour prior to showing up for the job and said they were on their way. When they show up Don explained to me what they where going to do. They removed all vent covers and returns and vacuumed out ducts. Went through the basement to clean out all duct work up to first and second floor. The ducts were dirty 25 years since cleaned last. The ducts came out clean and I could not believe how dirty they where. Don and Evan wore shoe covers to keep the white carpet clean. They vacuumed the carpets in front of vents to pick up any dirt that may have fallen. Don and Evan did a great job. The house was spotless when they left.
